Third person pov

Sunrays highlight the ethereal features of Taehyung's beautiful face as he stirs awake from his deep slumber. Did he wake up on his own? Of course not. He was disturbed from his sleep by his ringing phone. He rolls around with a groan and reaches for his phone on the bedside table.

He didn't get proper sleep yesterday night. It has been the same since Minho's death. Though he fell asleep early, he kept waking up in cold sweat in the middle of the night because of formless nightmares. Ignoring the need to go back to sleep he attends the call.

"Hello?", he mumbles without even checking the caller ID.

"Tae, thank god you picked up the phone. I have been trying 4 times. What were you doing. Is everything ok?", Yoongi's voice comes loudly from the other side.

"Ah, hyung. You are hurting my ears by shouting early in the morning. Iam totally fine. I was asleep, sorry for not picking earlier."

"Aish, this kid. What are you doing sleeping till 8.30 in the morning?"

"Hyung. It is early....wait...what? What are you saying? Is it 8.30 already? Gosh! How did I sleep in till late. Ugh! Iam an idiot."

"Enough of self praise Taebear. Open your front door first. If I stand outside your door anymore, your neighbours are gonna get suspicious of me and call the police"

"What? Hyung? Really? Why did you come here all of a sudden?", Tae tries to get out of the bed quickly but instead gets tangled in the bed covers and lands hard on the floor.

"Ow! Ow! That hurt!!"

"Tae? Are you okay? What are you doing?"

"Wait a moment hyung! I just fell on the floor because of you!", he says faking anger in his tone.

"Hahaha"

Tae can already imagine Yoongi making fun of him. So he cuts the call and untangles himself from the covers with great difficulty. He quickly freshens up and opens the door for Yoongi. Upon seeing him, Yoongi starts laughing once again but quickly shuts up after Tae glares at him cutely.

Tae hadn't expected Yoongi to show up today. He had called Jimin to meet him at 9 and now he wonders what to tell Yoongi since it is already 8.45 and he may be arriving any moment.

Yoongi gives Tae a tight hug as soon as he steps in and pats him lightly on the head. He had missed Tae a lot since he couldn't see him for the past 2 days because of his work.

"Hyung, What a surprise! I didn't expect you here today?", Tae asks questioningly.

"Tae! Don't tell me you don't remember?", Yoongi asks surprised.

"Remember what hyung?"

"I told you when we met last Friday that I would take you to my studio today to show you the new song I produced, didn't I?"

Taehyung's eyes widen in realisation. He had totally forgotten about it. Now he thinks about what excuse to tell Yoongi.

"Iam really sorry hyung. It totally slipped out of my mind."

"Tae, tell me what is going on? Is there any other problem that I don't know about? I called Jin hyung earlier and he said you returned to your house but refused to tell me why"
"It is nothing hyung. I came here because I felt like it. There is no other reason."

"No Tae. This is not like you. You would never forget our schedule like this. If you don't tell me what it is, then I will never talk to you again", yoongi says with a finality in his voice.
