Chapter 11

Third person pov

Tae reaches Minho's company and enters the building to find half the employees missing from their seats. The other half who are present are also in a sluggish state. Few of the staffs are roaming around here and there. Tae takes a moment to take in the situation and starts searching for manager Sejin, who was the only person he knew well among the staff.

He spots Sejin in front of Minho's cabin with a bunch of papers in his hand, almost on the verge of a mental breakdown. He walks forward and stands in front of the manager, "Sejin hyung". Sejin is startled since he didn't expect Tae to show up at the company. This was because how much ever Minho's affair was hidden, the company staff eventually came to know about the whole thing.

"Oh! Tae! I didn't expect you here. What a pleasant surprise!", he says trying to smile but his face clearly betrays his stress. "Hyung, you don't have to hide your worry. I know the current state of the company very well"

"Tae, Iam really sorry. I should have informed you. But I couldn't bring myself to burden you with this after all that has happened."

"Don't be sorry hyung. I know how difficult it must have been for you. But I really want to help. I can't let all of Minho's efforts gett wasted. Now since Iam here, will you please fill me in on the details about the debt"

Sejin looks at Tae in awe. He has always seen Tae as a playful and childish person. But seeing this mature side of him, makes him respect Tae more. "Sure Tae. Thank you for coming even though it was not your responsibility. I will show you all the documents", he leads Tae into Minho's cabin.

Taehyung's pov

Sejin hyung briefs me on the debts obtained from the bank. I never imagined the situation to be this worse. There are a lot of accumulated debts. Most debts were obtained in the past 2 months. My head is almost spinning. How had I not realised what Minho was going through all this time. God! I have been so dumb!

Suddenly I remember the file I found at home. "Sejin hyung, I want you to let me know what you know about this partnership", I ask handing him the file.

"This...umm..this...", he hesitates.

"What happened hyung? Is there something wrong?"

"No Tae. It is just that this company is a floral boutique and we made a partnership with them for all flower supply for our events".

"And? Come on hyung. Tell me the complete details. Are you trying to hide something?"

"Iam not hiding anything Tae. I just don't want you to get hurt. But if you want to know, this floral boutique was owned by Jeon Boyoung".

That name strikes a chord within me and I stand stunned without knowing what to reply. So this is how Boyoung and Minho knew each other. Or maybe they knew each other previously and then signed a partnership.

I want to know about the whole deal, but at the same time I also don't want to know about it. I just want to shut myself into a room and cry. But no. This is not the time for it. I want to convince myself that I have forgiven Minho for what he did. But it comes back haunting me again and again. Can I ever truly forget his betrayal and move on?

Whatever he may have done, my love for him was definitely true. For the sake of it, I should do what I have to do.

With a new found determination I ask for further details from Sejin hyung regarding various matters of the company which would help me in avoiding its bankruptcy. For now there are no more event bookings at the company. So I give all the staff a two day holiday until I can decide what to do further.
