Taehyung lay on his bed hugging the stuffie with a heart shaped head which his dear husband had bought for him on their 1st anniversary which was 3 days ago. He had named the stuffie 'Tata'. Taehyung had returned home from his hyung's house earlier that evening since he was missing his husband terribly. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something bad was gonna happen. He had tried calling Minho but his phone was switched off. Tae tried to convince himself that nothing would go wrong because Minho usually switched off his phone when he was busy with his work.
But a small smile appeared on his face when he looked at Tata and reminisced their 1st anniversary celebrations last tuesday. Tae had surprised Minho with his favourite chocolate cake from Jin hyung's cafe and later they had gone out for a romantic candle lit dinner. Thinking of the cake made him remember someone resulting in an irritated expression on his face. It happened on the day before their anniversary.
Four days ago
Taehyung's pov
On the way back home from my photo studio i decide to drop by Jin hyung's cafe. I want to surprise Minho for our anniversary tomorrow. But I haven't gotten any ideas till now on how to do it. I think I would be able to plan something after consulting with Jin hyung. When I enter the cafe, Jin hyung is not there. The employee tells me that he is inside the storage room checking on some supplies.
So i decide to look around the various baked items on display. They are so colourfully and artistically made. Among them one particular cake catches my attention. It is a chocolate cake made in a heart shape with beautiful purple and white icing on the top. White is Minho's favourite colour and mine is purple. It would be perfect for our anniversary.

I immediately call the employee who is standing nearby, "Excuse me, I want this cake". But Iam astonished when another man standing beside me is pointing at the same cake and saying the same exact words. However, my astonishment turns to slight anger when the man says, "I was the first one to select this cake. Pack it for me and write this birthday message on it". Saying so he takes a paper and starts writing the message he wants. How can a person be so rude?
How could I let him him have the cake when I have selected it for my Minho. "Excuse me Mister, but I picked it first. The cake belongs to me", I say. He turns to me with a scowl on his face, "Do you know who I am? I am The Jeon Jungkook. CEO of Jeon Corp., And this cake belongs to me. I saw it first". He then turns to the employee, "It is my wife's birthday tomorrow. I want the message on cake to be extra special".
Let him be the CEO of company or even the President of the country. Do I look like I care? Idiot. And what is his name again? Dungkook or Junghook? He is just so full of himself. If he asked politely then I would have considered giving the cake to him. Mind you. I said 'considered'. But I would have not given, because it is for our anniversary. The employee looks so confused as to what to do because he knows me well as Jin hyung's BIL (brother-in-law).
Just then Jin hyung emerges from the back of the cafe. He sees me and comes near. I take this chance and tell him immediately, "Jin hyung, I want this cake for our anniversary. Can you pack it for me now? It fits the taste of both Minho and I". Hyung gives me a wide smile, "Of course. Anything for you Tae" and starts takes out the cake for packing.
That man who had called himself 'The Jungkook' was now standing 'Jungshook'. I turn towards him and smile victoriously. He deserves it.
Jungkook's pov
Today I was in a very good mood because I could leave the company early. I have been working really late on all the designs for the upcoming exhibit in 2 weeks. Today the designs were finally completed. And also tomorrow is my baby's birthday. I drop by a cafe on my way to purchase a cake for her. But my good mood lasted only until that person interferred and said that he chose the cake first. Iam really short tempered when anything doesn't turn out the way I want. So i give him a piece of my mind and then turn to the employee.
Just then a person emerges from the back. Seems like he is the owner of the cafe. The person next to me talks to him casually calling him Jin. I think they know each other well. That person calls him Tea. Oops! Maybe Tae. Then that person Jin starts packing the cake for him without even looking at me. There goes my good mood for the day. I walk towards him amd stand in front of him, "Excuse me, I saw that cake first. You should give to me". I take out my wallet to pay for it.
Jin looks at that irritating 'Tea' person with a surprised expression and asks, "Is this person saying the truth Tae?". "Of course, why would I lie?", I ask him. "No hyung, I pointed it out first", he whines in a childlike voice. It is cute. Wait, what? Did I just think he is cute. NO. He is irritating me. "Iam the CEO of Jeon Corp., Jungkook. I will pay you double the money for the cake. Just give it to me and not to this Idiot", I say to Jin. But that Jin person looks at me sternly. "Sorry Mr.Jungkook. I don't need your extra money. And can you be a little polite. You can't buy everything with money. Taebear, you take the cake and go. Me and Joonie will come over to your place after I close the cafe", he says.
Iam left speechless. Did he just reprimand me. And he also gave the cake to him. This Jin looks like a soft person, but he is intimidating when he looks angry. I think they both are closer than I assumed. I turn to look towards that Tea person and he sticks his tongue out towards me mocking me again. I huff in annoyance and after glaring at him for a moment, I turn swiftly and leave the place. I would never forget that rude brat. He spoiled my evening. In my annoyance I forget to bring any gift for my darling. So I ended up wishing her without a gift. I felt so guilty. On top of it I had to hear a earfull from my bestfriend and soulmate Park Jimin for neglecting to buy a birthday gift for his beloved sister. This is all because of that idiot named Tae.
Jin's pov
After sending Tae home I think about that rude CEO Jungkook. He didn't have to glare at my baby like that and how dare he call him an idiot. He was just so full of himself. Compared to him Minho is a lot better. He always cares about Tae. Though I don't like him very much, atleast he is not like this Jungkook. Maybe Tae found himself a good partner. They are celebrating their 1st anniversary tomorrow. I want my Tae to be happy always. I just hope he does not encounter any jerk like this Jungkook in the future.
