Today, when I look up at the sky,
My eyes fill with tears.
I weep and sob and cry,
And let out all the pain my heart bears.
No one is there to see or hear,
All my prayers seem to go in vain.
I wish so bad for someone to hold me dear,
God, please give me the strength to bear this pain.
It is not the first time I'm left alone,
My friends never felt what I did.
As the time passes, my heart feels like stone,
As the emotions I crush and forbid.
Gradually getting used to it,
This pain is now nothing to me.
And now I try my best to light,
The dark path of life to clearly see.
