He thrusted for the last time and stopped. We had already pulled our lips away a while ago, now we leaned our foreheads against. We were breathing heavily. Only water falling from the shower was went through the empty hallway again.

"For the first time, take my words seriously. It's not a good idea."

"I'm telling you for the last time it's my brother. I'm not gonna avoid him. And I won't let anything happen to him at all. Which means bringing him on our side."

"And I'm telling you for the last time he's almost shot you."

"No - he's almost shot you."

"That doesn't matter. Understand. He's dangerous."

"So were you."

"I still am."

"But you don't try to excint anyone. That's what I mean. You're on the good side of the line."

"Mia.."

"Theo, stop. I'm going to talk to my brother. Dot. Finish. I refuse to discuss about it with you anymore."

Theo just cleched his teeth and wheezed in disagreement. I opened the foor and headed to school. I wanted to catch Nolan before he would go home. I had gotten to know every afternoon he spent some time at the school counselor.

"Nolan!" I shouted at my brother who was just walking through the hallway. He turned to me with disbelief.

"Mia..." he breathed. I went to him but he started walking back instead.

"Nolan, this is not the right way."

"D-d-don't app-p-p-proach me..."

"Nolan... please, it's still me! I'm the same girl you've grown up with!"

"I wouldn't be this sure," sounded a person who's just opened the door next to me. He pulled me away from Nolan and tossed me against the lockers. The blow sounded through the whole hallway.

"Hey, Gabe," I smiled falsely, "not nice to see you."

"My words," he tossed me against the lockers again but this time with only one hand. He reached with the second one into his pocket. "I thought one silver arrow would give you a lesson. But it seems," he took a bloody scalpel out of it and watched it, "you're a tougher piece."

I was nervously looking at Gabe's face, the scalpel, Gabe's face. My breath accelerated, so did my heartbeat. Gabe's hand slipped down immediately and cut my stomach open.

I screamed of pain. I covered the middle of the wound with my hand. When I looked at it after few secods, I wasn't surprised it was graced with blood.

With screaming someone third ran to us. He tore Gabe off me and took him into boys locker rom. I could see his face fo a moment. His yellow glowing eyes. Simply Liam.

With my hand covering the long wound extending past practically my whose stomach and followed by my painful sighs, I slipped down the lockers on the ground.

"Maybe you haven't noticed lately, but I've been having trouble controlling my anger."

Maybe I didn't like Gabe twice as much, especially now when I found out it was him who had shot me, however, I couldn't let Liam kill him.

"When things happen to my friends, I just can't seem to help it. I just get so angry!"

Despite the incredibe pain, I tried to get up.

"God, Mia!" another boy hurried to me. And how about girls, huh? "I told you it's a bad idea," he held my shoulders and leaned me back against the lockers.
