"What are you doing?" Liam shouted, lying next to me. My sight stopped on Theo who had thrown us there. And who was just disappearing from our fields of vision behind an elevator doors. "Being the bait," he said in the last second we could see his face.

"No!" Liam shouted, ran to the doors and started hitting them with his fists. But it was too late. When he realized it, his fists opened and letting his arms drop aside, he turned in my direction. He crouched in front of me. He was looking at my eyes. Not sayings words. Just gazing at me.

"And if you haven't realized it yet, the Ghost Riders don't give a fuck about us."

Liam slowly turned into a blur.

"finally understand you're not leaving with the Ghost Riders 'till I'm here."

I winked. A tear of grief that came out of my eye and allowed me to see Liam clearly again slowly slipped down my whole face. A shiny wet path stayed after it. I bent my face down. I felt Liam's hand laying in my face and whipping the tear off. His fingers supported my chin and together with the rest of my face, they turned it to Liam. I could feel regret from him. "Can I hug you?" he asked half-heartedly. I began to nod, leaning to him. I whipped my arms around his chest, he embraced me as strongly. Tears were leaving my eyes one by one.

"Mia," Liam pulled away from me. He was still watching me. "You're beautiful," he whispered. I cought myself smiling slightly. But the sadness prevailed.

Liam grabbed my chin gently again. He closed his eyes and began to approach me. I was more than sure what he wanted to do. I didn't have this strength to oppose. I didn't have the strength to explain to him that I'd just lost the closest person. I didn't have the strength to explain to him he was like a younger brother to me. I simply closed my eyes, too and laid my lips on his. Me in his age… okay, he wasn't that younger than me. But when I was that old, I didn't just think about kissing someone like this. But Liam? He seemed to have a lot experiences.

We were just sitting there in the elevator. And I realized something. It shad stopped.

I pulled away from Liam. His eyes were still closed and mouth ajar. As he opened his eyes and saw me he shook his head, wiped his palm into thighs and tried to find some excuse. After a while he just exhaled, saying: "Sorry."

I smiled at him. I stood up within a second and went to still closed elevator doors.

"Mia," Liam named me again. I turned st him. He spread out his arm to me, but he let it drop alongside his body again and made a step in my direction. "I'm so sorry, I-"

"Liam," I stopped him, "it's okay. Really. This is exactly what I needed. Well, maybe not from my non-biological brother but… I could use it."

Liam just smiled. He grabbed my shoulder and moved me aside. He took doors and opened them. We were in the ground floor. In front of us, there was the same creepy hallway we'd ran in before. The same Theo'd stopped in.

Filled with nervousness, we held our hands. We left the elevator, looking around. "Ah!" Liam screamed and fell.  Before I could ask something, the answer hit my eyes by itself. Railways were lying right in front of me. "What the hell…" I went on the railways. I stopped and turned around. A great board was there on the wall next to the elevator. It recalled me that board with arrivals and departures on the train station. The very first town - Beacon Hills.

"Mia," Liam got on his feet and forced his eyes in the same place as I did, "what do you think this means?"

I shrugged, "I don't know."

"Try to shoot in it."

"Are you out of your mind?"

"How can you know it's not a good idea?"
