If I could, I would have punched him. And kick Liam to blood. Okay, I could have done it. But both of them were way too import to Mia not to care about it. And I really didn't need to lower their trust, if Mia and I should have been together

I was running as fast as I could. All paths had always lead to the Beacon Hills High School. Why should it be different this time?

The hallways were empty. No one was there. Silence reigned the school.

I was slowly walking through the dark spaces when I encountered a statue. It was weird. Just a statue in the middle of the hallway. I couldn't help myself but it reminded me of someone. It was a man, just a little older than me. I listened carefully. I could hear his heart beating. I realized what had possibly happened. This man was just another Anuk-ite's victim.

I couldn't waste my time. The more time I would waste the more innocent lives wouldn't have to end up well.

Slowly and as quietly as I could, I was walking through the hallway and listening to the surroundings.

A strong scream sounded. It sounded like Lydia. It was definitely Lydia. This powerful sound made me cover my ears with hands and bent my head down. I noticed doors slamming with a loud blow. It seemed not to be end. That's why I straightened and listened again.

"Scott..." I could hear Stiles' voice. But... it was different. Like... dark. "Open them, Scott. All you have to do is open your eyes."

Now I understood what's going on. That's why I ran out. I followed the voice. Scott. The Anuk-ite.

"Scott!" I shouted as I ran into the library. Stiles was holding Scott's throat. His back was turned to me.

"Mia, close yoUR EYES!" Scott yelled. Before Stiles could turn to me, I couldn't see anything but darkness. My lids were strongly kept pressed.

"Well, well, well," Stiles' voice was getting closer to me, "I told you we'll meet again. I hope you missed me."

"I'm not scared of you," I growled.

He was standing right in front of me.

He threw me against a wall where I slipped down. "You're so naive," the voice was approaching me again. Just this time it didn't belong to Stiles.

"Mia, don't listen to him!" Scott shouted after he heard the Anuk-ite attacked my weakness.

"How many times will I have to repeat you I never gave a fuck about you?"

"You're not real..."

"The whole time I was just trying to get to Scott. And you know it. You helped me get his place after all."

"I'm sorry, Scott," I sobbed, trying to get up again, "I have never... I didn't know he wanted to kill you, I... I-I... really, I... I swear..."

"So this is what this game's been about the whole time?" Theo's voice was just four inches in front of my face. "About promises and swears? I can't believe you're so stupid. Don't you get that I have never loved you?"

"That's not true," I growled angrily, clenching my hands into fists.

"Admit it, Mia. You recklessly fell in love with a damn liar and bloodthirsty murde-"

With claws on my hands, I managed to rip his face pretty solidly. In return, he sent me on the ground. My back cracked.

"So our princess wants to play!" his steps were so close again. While I was backing. He grabbed me, set me on feet and tossed me against the wall. He was breathing on my neck. "Come on, Mia, open your eyes."
