Steve Rogers and Peter Parker

Last night there was a really bad storm where I live and I was inspired to write this.

Lightning flashed. Thunder cracked. But it was not Thor's doing.

Steve heard a small knock at his front door. He got up from the couch turning of the TV and went to answer it. Standing on his doorstep was a sodden boy.

"Peter! What are you doing here in the middle of the night!!" Steve was ready to lecture Peter buy once he saw Peter face, glistening from tears, he immediately pulled Peter inside holding him close.

"Steve I'm sorry..."

"Hey...why are you sorry? There's no need to be sorry."

"Steve...I'm scared..." Peter dared to look up at Steve. As soon as he did he began crying again.

"It's okay bud. I got you. You're safe now." Peter clung onto Steve's shirt, wetting it with his tears. Steve's arms were wrapped tightly round his love. "It's okay. I'm here." He stroked Peter's back and kissed his head before lifting him up and taking him to the bedroom where Peter quickly feel asleep.
