Robin's POV
We were fighting Slade. I can't stand that name. Just hearing the name puts me in a bad mood. The rest of the team worries about me every time Slade turns up. I must admit that I do get a little crazy and hot-headed. Who am I kidding, I totally blow my top at the smallest things when I know Slade's come up with something.
As the rest of the team was fighting Slade's robots, I went to take on Slade. I saw him try to run out the area but I cut off the exit. "Nice try Slade," I sneered. He ran at me, ready to attack as I quickly pulled out my Bo staff. We fought and fought, it seemed as if it were endless. Right before I could throw one more punch, he ran into a corner, ran up the wall, did a backflip, jumping over my head and landed. He ran toward Star and pulled out some kind of staff with a ball of blue energy at the end. Star was turned with her back towards him because she was fighting off the bots. I tried to warn her but right as she turned around to look at me, Slade hit her with the blue ball of energy at the end of the staff. She was struck in the upper arm near her shoulder and collapsed.
She lay still on the ground unconscious. I went to her side to see if she was ok while Slade ran out of the lair. I let him get away but that didn't matter. I needed to make sure she was ok. I don't know what I would do if I lost her.
