Beastboy's POV
"Robinnnn... do I have to," I asked half asleep. "Yes, STARFIRE COULD BE IN DANGER AND YOUR JOKING AROUND!?"
"Sheesh, could you chill?" I remark.
He stormed out to wake the others. I went down to the ops room where he was already trying to track her communicator.
"DARN IT!" Robin yelled.
"What's the matter?" Cyborg asked.
"I can't even find her communicator, it must have been destroyed or broken."
"Well maybe.." then Robin cut me off.
" Shut up!"
" Know is not the time," Cyborg whispered to me maybe trying to make me feel better.
I couldn't stand that. I know that he's upset because he cares about her but does he have to treat us like rats?
"Dude, just because your upset that we can't find Star doesn't mean you have to act like a total jerk!"
Robins POV
Beastboy's right, I have been acting like a total jerk to my team. I was ashamed to be this rude just because of a problem affecting me differently than the others. I walked out of the ops room and went to the rooftop of the tower. I needed to think... I neede to truly concentrate. I looked around the rooftop when Cyborg called me on my communicator.
"What is it, Cyborg?" I asked him, being surprised by his call.
"You better come back here because we may have found Star."
I ran back to the ops room as fast as I could, only to find Slade on the screen.
"Where is Starfire?" I firmly asked
" Oh Robin, your a smart boy aren't you. Why don't you find her yourself."
His camera was then turned to Starfire in the background. She was chained to a wall with some kind of machine next to it.
"You'd better hurry Robin before your friend starts to forget you."
Starfire started to stir and wiggle to try and break free. Slade walked over to the machine.
"Slade no, please I do anything... just don't hurt Starfire."
He didn't listen to my plead and flicked the switch. Star started to shake and squirm even more as if she were trying to fight something taking control of her. After about 7 seconds of this stirring, she slowly stopped. She looked lifeless but was still breathing. Slade had taken over her mind somehow possibly hypnosis.
"Starfire!" I yelled.
Slade cut the camera, they were gone. I slumped to my knees and felt hopeless... this was all my fault. I should have been there to protect her.
It had been a day and a half since Star was kidnapped by Slade. We were still trying to figure out where his hideout was. I was doing research in my room while Raven was flying about town trying to sense them. Cyborg was also doing research with Beastboy's help. All was quiet when I got a call on my communicator, it was Raven.
"Robin, I can sense they're near, I'm at the old run down factory. Meet me on the rooftop of the factory."
"Thanks, Raven...I'll be there soon."
