Alone (a RobStar fanfic)

Chapter 2

Star's POV

I woke up in the tower's clinic/ hospital area. I was confused. What happened, how did I get here, I wondered. I saw Robin pacing in an open area nearby. I tried to speak but I couldn't. I attempted to sit up but I was also unable to do so. Robin glimpsed at me and rushed over. He kneeled next to the head of the bed and caressed my cheek. "Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked. I couldn't answer so I just lay there. "The temporary paralysis hasn't worn off yet. It should in an hour or two. Don't worry," he said reassuringly. I wanted to smile but I could not. He slid his arms under me and picked me up (bridal style). He took me to my room and waited for the paralysis to wear off. It did eventually wear off an hour or two later. I sat up for the first time in a while. He came over to me and asked if I was ok. I nodded. He put out his hands to help me up. I put my hands into his and stood up. I was quite wobbly at first but I regained balance. I let go of his hands and tried to hover but when I tried to fly, I didn't. I was still standing with my feet on the ground. Robin could tell what I was trying to do and said, "Whatever caused your paralysis also drained your energy and powers temporarily. I nodded my head to notify him that I understood.

Slade's POV

Yes, yes. Everything is going as planned. I will first target the most important thing to Robin....Starfire. He does anything for her and he would do anything to keep her safe. If I put her in danger, he will do anything I propose to protect her. When I did this before but the whole team figured out how my plans worked. This time they won't have a clue. After a while of this, Starfire will start to feel helpless and guilty. She will become withdrawn and that is when I will take her. This will lure Robin in my trap easily. I will make him my apprentice and maybe even possibly make Starfire my apprentice also. The two lovebirds won't dare go against what I say. At that point, I will just threaten the other. Then I will have so much power and total control.
