Chapter 8 Let's go out

        On the way home after dinner (Y/N) fell asleep leaning on Zen's chest. He kept her under his protective embrace. He carried her to his house since he doesn't want to wake her up to ask for her keys on her apartment. Although that's just one of his excuse, he would make multiple excuses as needed, he just wanted to keep her on his side and watch her sleeping face.

        As he laid her down on his bed, he gently moved the stray hair strands out of her face. He holds some of her hair to his lips and kissed it lightly. He sighed in contentment in seeing her peaceful sleeping face. The way the moonlight illuminates her sleeping figure makes her more like a goddess.

"I will make you happy and I will always stay true to you, my lovely (Y/N)"

      Zen murmured to her, lightly placing his lips on top of her head. An idea crossed his mind and suddenly he felt ecstatic at the plan forming inside his head.

          When morning came (Y/N) noticed that Zen was no longer beside her, despite being asleep she knows that Zen laid her on his arms all night. She can hear some soft music playing from the living room accompanied by the sweet delicious smell of hot chocolate. She dragged herself out of the bed and walk to where it all came from.

                There was a basket laid out on the table, food containers stacked neatly beside it. Zen, looked so proud on his work that he can't help but smile. He then went back to preparing for breakfast while doing so he felt a pair of arms around his torso and a face nuzzled on his back.

                  There's only one person who could make his heart jump in joy just with these simple gestures. He could not help himself from blushing, so he turned around to face her.

"Awwwwwe, babe don't act so cute so early in the morning! My heart won't be able to keep up!"

              He hugged her back and she buried her head further on his chest. Zen lifted her face with his index finger so he can see her face. She smiled widely at him.

"Zenny where's my good morning kiss?"

                  Zen gave her a peck on her forehead.

"Sorry it's late, good morning my princess. May I invite you on a date?"

"Yes! Of course, where to?"

She exclaimed excitedly.

"Hmmmmm, it's a secret."

          He winked at her grinning at the thought of how she would react on their first date as a couple. They ate their breakfast with a light conversation.

                (Y/N) was so happy when Zen invited her on a date. She's looking forward where they're going but since Zen kept it a secret from her, only slipping a hint that it will be a bit of an outdoor activity. She decided to wear a white denim shorts and a black shirt that hugs her body tightly exposing her curves then paired it with a black sneakers.

"Babe!? You done?"

                  Not sure if she's wearing the right outfit, she went out of the room. Seeing Zen busily arranging the basket she called him out.

"Zenny, can you check if I'm looking ok?Like, you know If what I'm wearing fits your plan for the day?"

                     Zen looked her up, eyes wide, jaws dropped. What his seeing was definitely an eye candy, his favorite at that. He cleared his throat while walking over to her.

"Baby, you look fantastic, beautiful. I love it so much. But, uuuhm I'm concerned. Is it not too revealing? I know it's a shirt, anyways what if there are guys out there who will check you out?"

                  She raised an eyebrow quizzically to him. After staring at each other trying to argue with their eyes. She laughed as Zen stared at her, surprised by the sudden outburst.

"Baby, no one will check me out if you're with me! They'll be afraid of you. You always send that deathly glare everytime."

"But babe, Can you please reconsider? Pleeeease. Pretty please?"

        Zen whined like a child and to increase his rate of success he pulled her over to him and shower her with kisses all over her face. She tried to shrug him off her but to no avail.

"I won't stop kissing you until you say, Yes. Please? You're beautiful, kind and if you add the..the..s-sexy body there'll be a lot of guys who will want at you! I'm sorry, I'm being possesive."

      She giggled at this making her a blushing mess.

"Ok! Gosh, alright I'll change. Just so you know I'm doing it cause I love you. Have you forgotten that you're so dashing too?"

       She got herself away from him to change then beaconed Zen to help her choose her outfit. Broadly smiling from getting what he wanted, he exclaimed.

"Love you more baby lamb!"

        She scoffed while Zen followed her back into the room to help her choose her dress.

           After so much debate they could not reach an agreement. She kicked him out of the room and when she went out, she's wearing Zen's black shirt. Tucking it in her white denim shorts. Despite the simplicity of her get up she still looked stylish. She place her hands on her waist. She huffed.

" Goodness if you're not going to accept this as suitable I'm not going with you!"

Zen worriedly hugged her.

"Sorry babe, you're still stunning as ever. I can't help but get possissive if guys will still stare at you. One thing, let me confirm that you're mine? ok? Then will be off! "

        Sighing from his whinning, she grabbed his face to her, suddenly kissing him on the lips it's more like a peck. Totally surprised from what happened, he could not react from the kiss, it was finished and she already started walking out of the house. She stopped by at the door and said.

"Zenny babe, you're being overly protective again. Of course I'm yours. Now get here and let's go out!"

           With that statement, it was now Zen's turn to sigh. He was just owned by her girl. How can she be so adorable?! He silently shouted to himself as he went to run after her.
