Chapter 35 Calm Before the Storm

The taping for Zen's first TV series did not go smoothly, but it was expected because of the scandal between him and Echogirl. Though it happened for a year now, people in the entertainment industry still dug and swarmed on it like hungry flies.

A pair of hands hug her from behind, she did not even stiffen cause she already knows who it was. A sexy husky voice tickled her ears.

"I told you that I'll be the one cooking tonight."

A quick lick landed on her ears, she shuddered in a good way. She turned around to see her boyfriend's face. Cupping his handsome face on her hands, she said.

"I can't let my prince die of overwork. Look at your face…"

She was not able to finish her sentence as her lips were captured in a slow passionate kiss. Their lips collided, tongue intertwined. Zen gently nibbled and sucked on her little tongue. After the kiss Zen rested his forehead on hers.

"If it's for you then I don't mind."

A chuckle escaped from her.

"You should mind. If you leave I will be marrying someone else"

Zen stared at her wide eyed, and seemed like he forgot that scenario.

"Ah, yes. I can't leave you like that. Then I'll make sure to love you thoroughly so you will never forget me."

A mischievous sultry smile was plastered on his face, but his eyes are shining like a predator eyeing its favorite prey. He turned off the stove and before she could respond, Zen's arm circled around her waist pulling her in closer to him while the other grabbed her neck to support her body from his hungry kiss. He explored her mouth with fervor. He swiped his tongue on her inner lips, then drove deeper into her cavern. With his passion all she could do was surrender to him. A sound of interlocking lips echoed in their ears, sending excited shivers around their bodies.

As they were immersed with their kiss a loud knocking on their door came. She came to her senses and tried to push Zen to check. Zen growled angrily.

"Ignore it."

But just as he finished talking another knock came. He stopped what he's doing and looked at her and then his aching groin. He sighed and took a deep breath, he could not possibly have asked her to answer the door upon seeing her sexy condition. Face flushed, eyes glazed, swollen lips and disheveled hair, surely his rabbit would die in embarrassment but he was more concerned that she would be oblivious in seducing men around her, then he will be the one to die of jealousy.

"You continue cooking, I'll check who it is."

Zen kissed her forehead and left her to answer the door. A small smile crept on her lips and she happily continued cooking.

When he opened the door he was surprised to see a woman clad in an office wear just like Jaehee but on a more girly side. Her looks can be comparable to top tier actresses and she carried herself in a professional manner. She looked surprised when she saw Zen, for she never expected the beauty and allure of Zen. He was taken aback by her reaction and cleared his throat and asked.

"How can I help?"

She blinked her eyes and composed herself like nothing happened. She smiled at her business smile and introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm Ye SoYoon. From Regal Modeling Agency, here to discuss business."

She offered her business card to him which Zen reluctantly accepted. Ye So Yoon beamed when he accepted the card and she had this expectant face but her hopes were dashed by Zen.

"Thanks for the offer, but can you discuss it with my agency? I don't accept any business or offers in my home, with all the things that happened last time."

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean it that way."

She was awkwardly smiling, but Zen feels uncomfortable with her. His sixth sense is telling him that she is dangerous. Besides he is feeling agitated with her for disturbing his time with (Y/n).

"I really feel uncomfortable with this, so please discuss it with my agency. I will contact them later."

Ye So Yoon was smiling outside but she was gritting her teeth inside.
This is a first. I am the mighty president of the Regal Modeling, she even graced him with her presence instead of asking her secretary. But her curiosity gets the best of her, knowing that this Zen guy did not even think twice in dumping that busty heiress who competes with her in every turn.

Then a gentle voice echoed across the house.

"Zenny, the dinner is ready."

Zen's stiff face immediately softened and then he responded.

"Yes, baby. Coming!"

Then he turned his attention back to his visitor.

"Thanks for stopping by. I gotta go."

"Okaaay."

Then Zen without a second thought closed the door and forgot about the woman who came knocking on his door.

As the door closed on her face, Ye So Yoon felt so humiliated. She strode away from the house and went to her bloody red Maserati. But she smiled wildly after some time she thought to herself, she never expected he is so divine no wonder Kyungju was so crazy over him. As she drives away a plan is starting to formulate inside her head, that busty idiot will definitely die of envy if she gets what she can't.

Meanwhile there is a cozy environment inside the house. Zen happily hugged his princess from behind and with a sulking voice he told her what happened.

"You did not even go there, so you should reward me since I did good."

She chuckled at his childishness and patted his hand as she hummed.

"Hmm, my baby did good today."

Without delay she kissed his cheek and proudly said.

"I love you Ryu..Zen, Zenny, my prince, good job!"

Zen shocked, but soon his face beamed and bloomed like a tomato. He squealed in happiness as he buried his face on her shoulder. They both laugh at their silliness, then Zen enraptured by her tinkling voice, kisses her all over her face.

However they did not know that another storm was brewing outside their simple house.
