Lizzie stood from the bench she had been sitting on once she heard her name on the intercom. As she looked around the room, she saw the other Test Subjects stand up as well. They were all in the same group and would endure the Testing Process together. One boy walked over to the mirror and peered at himself, one last time. Lizzie was half-tempted to do the same, but she knew what she would see in the mirror.

Lizzie was a slender, average height girl with long auburn hair that fell to the center of her back. She had blue-gray eyes that reminded her of storm clouds and full lips. Her name tag animal was a fox, and she was quite happy with this, due to the fact that foxes had always been her favorite animal.

Lizzie looked around once more at the other teens in the room and pondered their reason for agreeing to this experiment. The boy at the mirror had a depressed look on his face and seemed to be lost in thought, and the others...they also seemed lost in thought. It was a bit off-putting for Lizzie, so she looked away quickly, fearing that their daze would spread to her if she stared for too long/.

Lizzie often had irrational worries like this and had been diagnosed with Anxiety only two years ago. Sometimes her anxiety was so severe, she wasn't able to move. The only reason the doctors hadn't hospitalized her is so they could see how this extreme anxiety impact a patient's daily life.

Lizzie thought this to be cruel and resented her parents for not insisting on her hospitalization. In fact, that's why she was here. She couldn't live with the anxiety anymore. She desperately needed the scientists here to fix it. She just absolutely had to get rid of her anxiety. No matter the cost.
