Aaron awoke from his nightmare sweating. He always had these nightmares, and he had tried every method he could find to rid himself of them. Nothing worked. Aaron sat up and ran his hand through his silver hair. That's when he felt two growths on the top of his head. They were ears. Wolf ears to be exact. Aaron's eyes widened and he jumped out of the bed had been laid on and ran to the mirror.
As soon as he saw what he looked like, he gasped. What had they done to him? His reflection was looking back at him, but it wasn't the reflection he was so used to seeing. He had become a muscled gray anthropomorphic wolf. He had a white underbelly and his fur was soft and shiny. His once light blue eyes now glistened a ice cold blue.
Once he got over his initial shock, he realized he was nude. After looking around the room for a bit, he found a closet full of clothes. He pulled on some khaki shorts and a white tank top that showed his muscles nicely. There was even a hole for the tail in his shorts. He was unsure of what to do next, so he returned to his bed, and sat down.
Aaron's tail flicked absentmindedly as he thought about what changes his body had just undergone. Suddenly, there came a knock at the door. Aaron was startled from his thoughts, and stood up abruptly. Then the door was pushed open, and Dr.Keagan came in, clipboard in hand.
Aaron's eyes narrowed and a low growl escaped his throat. "Down boy," Dr.Keagan replied nonchalantly, sitting down next to him. She began to look him over. Poking, prodding, and examining him. When she was done, she wrote something down on her paper and left without another word.
Aaron sighed with relief. Dr.Keagan had seemed nice enough at first, but after what she and her team had done to him, he despised her. He couldn't fathom what made her think she had the right to alter him in such a noticeable way without him giving his informed consent. He was appalled with her blatant disregard for morals and humanity.
Aaron sat down on his bed and counted back from ten. He needed to stay calm. If he didn't stay calm, he'd never find a way out of this. He needed to think clearly, and remain composed. Aaron took a few deep breaths and waited for his mind to clear of rage.
Once he was able to focus again, Aaron began to walk around the room, memorizing the layout, and the items. He walked over to the door and tried to open it. It was locked and Aaron wasn't surprised at that fact. Aaron made his way back to his bed and laid down, crossing his legs at the ankles. There was nothing better to do in this room, so Aaron closed his eyes and relaxed.
