Junhee wasn't sure as to why the older asked to come over for dinner but he agrees without a second thought. After all he really likes hanging out with him. Junhee is the one driving today, since Donghun left his truck at his place before coming back to the office.
"Is your daughter's school far?" Donghun asks the other as he keeps looking out of the side mirror
"No that far, reason as to why I've come to like a little this job" Jun says as he makes a turn towards the school
"So you don't want to be an accountant?" He asks now looking to his left
"Actually I wanted to be a teacher....like I was going to school for that...but I had to quit and found this job that, well, adjusted to my necessities"
"A teacher...yeah you do have potential in that field" Donghun says, imagining this man playing with more kids as he teaches them the colors and then him running around with them, his loud laugh being echoe through out the school.
"Thanks...well we're here" Jun says and he gets off the car. Just then a teacher comes out holding Eun's hands, she's crying. Jun dashes towards her. Donghun quickly walks behind him
"What happened?" Jun's voice shows his worry. The little girl doesn't say much and just hugs him. Jun carries her in his arms, her little head falls on his shoulder. Her arms wrapping around his neck
"Some kids today were teasing her before going home, they were told to stop but she just got sad. I'm sorry Mr Park. We'll keep an eye on her tomorrow" the teacher says. Donghun unconsciously grabs her tiny hand. He didn't like seeing this pretty bright girl this sad.
"What were they saying?" Jun's eyes are cold, serious.
"Um" the teacher hesitates "can I talk to you in private?" The teacher asks Jun. And before Jun can ask her to be later
"Here I'll take Eun to play at the store across the street" and Eun holds his dad tighter, "come on Eunkyung, there's a claw crane machine....what if we win something for you dad" and Eun lifts her head, Jun wipes her tears with his shirt and nods
"Ok" and she grabs Donghun hand as they cross the street. Jun stays behind.
They reach the store and Donghun immediately takes out some coins to play
"So here is a coin...want to play?"
"Yes" and Eun grabs the coin as she grabs the joystick, hey eyes can only see the buttons and she tries hard to play. Donghun just keeps cheering for her. After some tries Eun goes and stares at the plush toys
"So Eunkyung, why were you crying today?" Hun asks as he kneels downs and stands besides her
"The kids were mean....saying I don't have a mom because I'm ugly" she says again her eyes starts to tear up. Donghun just pets her little head
"Hey hey....don't cry princess....please, you're not ugly" and he wipes away her tears, " You're so pretty" and he smiles so softly to her and she just stares. Donghun doesn't know anything about why is Junhee single? Or how to talk to a kid? But he wants to help and make her smile.
"But" and before she can comment
"You're so pretty that you were given an amazing dad.!!" Donghun says, "that loves you very very much" he says and Eun just giggles, "so what if both play and get that toy for you amazing dad" the little girl smiles at this offer
"Ok" and both continue their mission.
