Chapter 1

Beep! Beep!

"Shut up!" I say knocking my alarm clock off of my nightstand. I sit up in my bed and check my phone. 'Shoot! I am going to be late!' I thought to myself. I jumped out of my bed and ran into the bathroom. I take a quick shower and brush my teeth. I slide on my casual T-shirt and jeans outfit. I pull my hair back into a ponytail grab my purse and my phone and I quickly ran out of the door.

~Time Skip~

I walk into my classroom to see so many people I don't know. 'Wow so many new faces,' I thought to myself. Well, I know some people such as Boruto, Shikadai, Sarada, Metal, and Cho Cho.

"Hey, Maria," Boruto says interrupting my thoughts and yelling across the room.

"Hi, LoudMouth," I said. BTW I give all my friends nicknames based on their personalities. LoudMouth was my nickname for Boruto because he had such a loud voice. Sometimes it would just come out of nowhere.

"How can you still remember those names?" A voice said from behind me. I turned around to see AB.(AB is Inojin's nickname. It stands for Art Boy) OMG seeing those eyes staring back at me have butterflies in my stomach. How long has he been standing there? Worse, how long have I been staring at him!

"Hi! AB!" I said a little too loudly that the entire class was looking at me.

Sarada sighed and Boruto laughed. Cho Cho mumbled something while Shikadai said his famous catch phrase "What a Drag,". Everyone who knows me knows that I have a huge crush on Inojin, expect Inojin himself. Sometimes, Cho Cho would give advice on how to talk to him and not go so crazy.

"Well, that was one way to say 'hi' to someone," Inojin said trying not to laugh. 'Wow, you really did it this time, Maria. Another way to embarrass yourself,' I thought to myself.

"Sorry, AB. I guess I just get excited when I see you. I mean- well not just you, all of my friends because I love you, I mean I love all of my friends. Not saying that I don't care about you, I do, but not like that," I said.

Everyone went back to their conversations while our JNG group of friends came over. In case you didn't know JNG stands for Junior Ninja Group. JNG includes me, Boruto, Shikadai, Sarada, Metal, Inojin, and Cho Cho. JNG first started when we were 5 years old. We all dreamed that we would become successful shinobi. So, that's when I came up with the name JNG. Ever since then, we all have still been friends and our dreams have never changed.

"School is such a drag," Shikadai said. True. School is just a waste of my time. But it was my choice to join the Academy so I could do something other than sit at home and watch Tv.

"Boy, do you ever stop complaining," I said with little sass in my voice. That's right I can be sassy sometimes.

"Unlike, Shikadai I try to look on the bright side of things," Inojin said with a smile. 'I would never get tired of hearing his voice,' I thought to myself.

"Alright class. Settle down and take a seat," (Instead of it being Shino Sensei it will be Kakashi as the teacher. Instead of him being the 6th Hokage he will just be your everyday shinobi).

I quickly sit down next to Sarada and Cho Cho. "Okay class," Sensei says. "Before we start Warm-Ups and Ninjustu we will get to know one another. So,tell me your names, dreams, likes, dislikes, and hobbies. Who wants to go first?"

"Wait" I say raising my hand. "Wouldn't it be better with you were to go first. It feels weird telling a complete stranger all of my personal information,"

"Well okay, My name is Kakashi Sensei. I like a lot of things. And what I hate is none of your business. My dreams well I never really thought about it. And hobbies well, let's not get into that," he says.

"Well, that was useless!" I say out loud. "All you really told us was your name!"

"Well if you know so much about introducing yourself why don't you go first. Come up here and introduce us to you," he says with a smile.

"Well um, okay I will," I said walking to the front of the class. 'Oh God what did I get myself into this time,'
