Chapter 15

Maria's P.O.V

Beep! Beep!.

I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. "Shut up," I said knocking it over.

I got up out of bed and opened the curtains to be greeted by the warm hot sunlight. "Good morning, to you too, Sun," I said with a smile.

I checked my phone to see I had 3 missed calls from Noa. I guess I should call her back. I dialed in her number and called her.

Noa: Girl, where have you been?

Me: Sleeping like any normal human would.

Noa: Well, hurry up and get ready and meet me at the entrance of the village.

Me: Why?

Noa: Inojin is coming back.

Me: OMG! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! YOU BETTER NOT BE LYING.

Noa: Nope.

Me: I will be there in 10 minutes!

I hung up the phone and rushed to the bathroom. What should I wear? Something that will impress him. I should curl my hair.
I took of my clothes and hoped in the shower and I dried myself off with a towel.

I curled my hair and put on my lucky blouse with a sweater on top and a short black skirt. I grabbed my phone and texted Noa that I was on my way. Maybe I can get his number.

I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. I closed the door behind me and locked it.

Time Skip

I made it there just in time. "You weren't kidding when you said you would be there in 10 minutes," Noa said. My face turned red when I saw a black SUV pull up and Inojin getting out of the car.

"Inojin is here! How do I look? Do I need to put more deodorant on," I said panicking.

"Girl, you look fine. Now, go over there and talk to him," Noa said as she pushed me towards him.

Alright, you got this Maria. Just don't panic.

I walked up to Inojin and gave him the biggest hug I was just about to kiss him when this girl pushed me away from him. She had big blue eyes and long wavy blonde hair. She wore a short pink skirt and a white v-neck that showed a bit if her chest. She looked like on of those popular girls you would see in the movies,

"Who is she?" I asked Inojin.

"She is my-"

"I am his girlfriend! And who do you think you are to try to kiss him," the girl said with an eye roll.

"You have a girlfriend," I said looking at Inojin with tears in my eyes.

"Please don't tell me you are, Maria," the girl said. "She is so ugly!"

"Aki, don't be rude," Inojin said. Aki? That must be her name.

" I am not being rude. I am just stating the facts!" she said putting her hand on her hip.

I held my tears back. "But, you said I was the love of your life,"

"You said you loved her!" Aki said. "How can you say that to someone so ugly,"

"Aki, that is enough!" Inojin yelled.

"How dare you yell at me like that," Aki said.

"Who needs pizza. This is the all you can eat drama buffet," Noa said with her arms crossed over her chest.

"I had just about had enough with you," I said choking on my tears. "I hate you,"

I slapped him as hard as I could across his face. And ran away in tears.
