We went laser tagging that day. It took us a while to decide upon what to do until Harry came up with the grand idea. I hadn't gone since I was a child, maybe 11 or 12, so I agreed.

The arena was large, but not as big as I remembered. I guess when you're young and so full of energy everything seems much bigger than it actually is.

It was a late Friday night, not many children came that day due to the fact that aggressive teens usually inhabited the wide arena.

"This way, babe." Harry told me, motioning for me to follow him.

I held my gun at point, ready for battle. I followed closely behind Harry, frequently checking behind me to make sure no one from the other team was following us. Harry went around a turn, and I was just about to repeat the action when someone grabbed my wrist, stopping me in my tracks. I let out a gasp, turning to confront my opponent, when I realised it was Bea.

"Oh my god, you scared me!" I said, laughing slightly as she released my arm.

"Shh, you might give us away." She instructed me.

Bea was always competitive, whether it be a simple game of dodgeball in gym class or laser tag, she tried her hardest to make sure she won. It was helpful if she was on your team, but it may cause you trouble if she was your opponent. Luckily in this case, we wouldn't be shooting at each other with plastic guns.

"Bea, we have to find Harry." I said, checking if he was anywhere in sight.

"Harry? Oh my god, are you on a date?" She questioned, excitement in her eyes.

"Yes-I mean no, just come on."

We wandered around in search of the curly haired boy as we shot our enemies. As I went around a corner, I bumped into someone, guns automatically landing on each others chests. My finger was on the trigger, ready to take action, when I realised it was the person I was looking for. He smiled a dimpled grin, his eyes seeming to light up as he put his gun down.

"I thought I lost you."

"Well," I said, laughing. "I kind of bumped into someone."

I stepped aside, revealing a wide eyed, energetic Bea.

"Hi, Harry." She greeted him.

"Hello, Bea." He responded as they shook hands.

Then, we continued our battle. After a couple of rounds, we were tired and sweaty, so we left. I invited everyone back to my house.

We were gathered in the living room. I brought them drinks, then sat beside Harry, his arm instinctively wrapping around my shoulder, causinh Bea to raise an eyebrow.

"Okay, this needs to be asked. Are you two a thing?" She questioned, looking between us.

My gaze shifted to Harry, not really sure how to answer the thought provoking question. We had only really known each other for about a month, a few dates occurring here and there. I had stayed at his house, kissed him, and shared one of my more personal secrets only Bea and my mother had known with him. We could be considered close friends at this point.

"I actually never asked her to be my girlfriend, but I do like her a lot." Harry spoke.

It was true. He never asked me, and I hadn't asked him. And I felt the same way that he felt about me. Maybe eventually we could start a relationship.

"Well," Bea said, propping her feet up on the coffee table. "You guys would be an adorable couple."

Harry looked at me, smiling.

"How about we watch a movie?" I suggested, reaching for the remote.

"Good idea." Harry said.

We agreed on Endless Love, a favorite of mine for a while now. I made popcorn and we passed the bowl around, discussing how rude Jade's father was as we watched.

Harry allowed me to lean against him as we watched the movie, his arms wrapped securely around me as he whispered sweet things in my ear, causing me to giggle as I fed him popcorn.

Before we knew it, the credits were rolling down the screen, and Harry and I hadn't payed much attention to the movie but rather to each other.

"God, you guys make me want a boyfriend again." Bea said as she grabbed the bowl of popcorn and took it to the kitchen.

I got up, shaking my head as I grabbed the remote, clicking the TV off.

"Ugh, my mom just called. My family is over and she wants me home for dinner. I'll see you later, Lyla." Bea explained when she walked back into the room, pulling me into a hug.

"Bye." I responded.

She pulled away, turning to Harry.

"Adios." She said, high fiving him.

"See ya." He replied as she walked away and out the door, leaving Harry and I alone.

I was happy to see that they seemed to like each other.

"Are you hungry?" I asked Harry.

"Actually," He said, taking my hand and leading me to the door. "I have an idea."

I sat in Harry's car, waiting for him to come out of his house. I had no idea what he had planned, but it was taking him a while to prepare it.

I was just about to get out and check on him when the door opened and he walked out, carrying something behind his back. He came over to my door, opening it and handing me a blindfold. I looked at him, confused, but he just instructed me to put it on.

He jogged around to the driver's side, getting in and starting the car.

"So, is this another one of your surprises?" I asked as I heard the engine rumble as he backed out of the driveway.

"Possibly." He responded.

"You're a mysterious man, Harry Styles." I joked.

"I guess you'll just have to solve that mystery, won't you?" He told me.

And even though my eyes were shielded by the black fabric, I knew he had that smirk on his face that always caused my heart to race.
