Chapter 6: Trying To Make Peace

"Ok we are all here, because we need to set some things straight. The first thing to happen if you guys want to be set free and are off the hook is to free Mrs. Gray. She has done so much for you and the time has come to repay her. If Mrs. Gray wants to stay she can otherwise she can leave she can go wherever she wants to as a free soul."
"No. She will never be set free and I will stick to that." Mr. Gray said.
"I'm sorry you must've been thinking I was asking you. I'm not. You will let her go or I will do it for you." Max replied to Mr. Gray dead serious. Mr. Gray looked into Max's eyes and saw the look of seriousness and that he has one chance.
"Fine I will do it." Mr. Gray said as he turned to his wife. "Mary I set you free."
"Thank you. I have made my choice long ago if this day ever came. I have decided that I will stay. For I didn't mind my slavery. I fell in love with the man I was to serve and that's all I needed. Thank you Max. Now I can go where I please and do what I want for the first time in my life." Mrs. Gray said as she sat down on couch in the room.
"Good I am happy for you Mrs. Gray. Now it's time for the thing you should have done long ago. Realise Luna from her chains. She is a smart, bright girl that deserves her freedom just as much as her mother." Max said looking dead into the eyes of thoughts in front of him.
"But you know that she will need a new home because of her age?" Mr. Gray asked Max.
"Yes. Luna will live with me right next door. You can visit her whenever you want." Max said.
"In the monster world this is called marriage." Mr. Gray continued.
"I understand that and I want you to know that I will take good care of her and love her with all my heart." Max said to Mr. Gray.
"Ok.... Max... I give you my daughter... Luna... she is now.... And forever more.... Yours..." Mr. Gray said trying to keep it all together, fighting back the tears.
"Thank you father..." Luna said crying onto Max's shoulder.
"That just leaves me with one question. How did you survive through the fights you had with us?" Ric said.
"That's because I was imprinted on by Luna and because of that I am immortal." Max said answering Rics questions.
"Wait Max what about your mom??" Luna asked suddenly.
"Don't worry I will take care of her. You just go upstairs and get your things together." Max replied.
Later that Night at Max's house...
"Hey mom, dad there's something I need to tell you." Max said sitting down at the table.
"What is it..." Max's dad said. Max's dad was a tall black haired man with glasses and had the voice of a businessman. Max's dad was always at work and never at home so there relationship wasn't really good.
"I need to ask you to let someone move in... My Girlfriend. I know i'm only 13 but I have one and right now she has nowhere to live so I said that I would let her move in with us." Max said quiet fastly.
"Well... um... I don't know..." Max's mom said. Then suddenly something came over Max just like in the Gray's house. Suddenly like his parents got hypnotized they said yes that she could move in. Max knew that this was not his doing and he looked outside the window to find Mrs. Gray taking care of things. The next morning Luna arrived at the Black's Doorstep to a warm welcome and a new bedroom and home.
The next day...
"Hey Max! Luna! Over hear!! Can you believe it today is the last day of Middle School." Luke said to both of them.

"No I can't. I just want to spend time in summer right now." Max said
"I.... Agree..." Luna said to Luke
"Wait why are you- Oh right your shy" Max said to Luna.
After the graduation ceremony...
"Hey has anyone seen Luca? She didn't show up for pictures." A teacher asked the group of kids.
"No... No we haven't..." Max said to the teacher.
