A/N: you and Tara dated before the apocalypse but got separated, you reunite when Arron brings a new group to Alexandria

You were by yourself. You don't really remember how you ended up with these people. They were a small family. A mother, two little girls roughly at the age of five and seven, and a teenager, she was about eighteen. You ended up with them when you saw some creeps trying to do things to them. You found them and saved their lives. Since then you stuck with them.

Life has been hard. Especially since you lost the love of your life. You haven't seen your girlfriend since the apocalypse happened. You weren't in town when it went down and when you did go to your apartment you shared with her. She was gone. You checked her sisters place but she was gone as well. You didn't even know where to start.

So you were on your own. That was until you met Diana and her kids.

Well while the five of you were on the road you felt like someone was following you. You looked behind you and saw movement.

"Diana, Heather. There's someone following us. Stay sharp." Heather is the teenager. You looked behind raising your gun. Face going a little pale when you recognized the w on the mans forehead. These were part of that group you killed when they tried to force themselves on the girls.

There was only two of them and they didn't have a gun. You only had one bullet. So with that bullet you shot one and the other attacked you since you were closer. You received some punches as Diana and Heather tried to help but they weren't as strong as this guy. And he was big. Right when he went for your neck and you were trying to reach for your knife a shoot rang through. You gasped out when you were finally able to breath. Diana was trying to calm down the crying toddlers while Heather made sure you were alright while she looked at the man that saved your lives.

"Are you ladies alright?"

"Y/N are you okay?"

"Yea I'm fine." You wheezed out. You coughed a bit and looked up when the man offered you some water. You knew better so you didn't. Even though you were really thirty.

"Do you have a camp?"

"No. We've been on the road for awhile." You groaned at Heather. Great now, he was probably going to kill you and ta-

"That's great. I'm Aaron this is my friend Daryl, we have a camp. A small town named Alexandria not far from here." Wait a minute did he say-

"Y/N kid that you?" You looked behind Aaron and to say you were shocked was understatement. You thought you'd never see him again.

Daryl helped you out of the car. When you were tackled down to the ground you sprained your ankle. The drive there you were to get to know Daryl and Aaron. They seemed like be decent guys. You were a bit on edge the whole ride. You didn't know what to expect. You sure as hell didn't expect this. It really was a town.

"I'll take Y/N to Denise."

"No we stay together."

"Alright then. I'll go get Rick." Arron said as he walked away. You were beyond amazed. This place was incredible. Daryl lead you to a house and brought you in.

"Ay yo doc. We got some new comers."

"I'm fine it's just my ankle." The doctor looked at you for a second but then her eyes widen. Like if she knew you from somewhere. But you haven't met this lady.

"Oh my go-Denise?"

"Right sorry. Uh okay." You were confused as how she acted. She cleaned you up quickly. Telling you that you should shower and then she'll re-wrap your ankle. Then she was out of the house like bullet when another man came in. Him you did recognize.

It was sheriff Rick Grimmes.

"Mr.Grimmes?"

"Y/N? Kid is that you?" You smiled widely. This man saved your ass like numerous times when the apocalypse happened you helped him find his family. But after the barn well things went south and so did you. You separated from them when the walkers took over.

"Shit your alive." He went up to you and hugged you. "Thought I'd never see you again." Before you could say anything someone came running in. Your smiled faded as you heart felt like it slowed down.

"Tara?"

"Y/N." She ran to you and hugged you close. Not caring that you were dirty. She hugged close and you hugged her back just as tight. Crying a bit cause your love is alive. She's alive.

"You're alive. How did you-It's a long story. I'm just so glad you're okay."

"Alright. I'll set up Diana and her family in house. I'm assuming Y/N will stay with you Tara." Tara nodded. You looked at Diana and nodded telling her that this place was safe and so were the people. You couldn't be happier.

"Come on. I'll take care of you." She smiled at you and pecked your lips. She was happy. More than happy.
