A/N: Supergirl is brought back

After the crisis things didn't go back to normal. Back in National city, things were anything but normal. Since Supergirl died crimes have risen. National city was the new Gotham City. But worse if that was possible. The DEO fell with Lex running it. Lex ended up showing his true colors and for the people who didn't know about him were surprised. The police were too scared to face the mad man. Catco, L-Corp, still stood. James came back and helped as best as he could. But he missed the blonde. More than ever. Brainy, Nia, J'onn. They did everything they could but...it just wasn't the same. Alex and Eliza, they were mourning the death of Kara. Especially Alex. She never went back to the DEO, not when Lex ran it. Lena, Lena didn't speak to anyone. No one could reach her. She locked down the lab. Sam came back and tried to talk to her but it was hard. She was hurting as well. She knew about Kara being Supergirl. Ruby was helping Alex heal, as best as she could. That was until Alex also ended up disappearing.

Lex was out of control. And he wasn't alone anymore. He was stronger and he had friends strong, dangerous. Superman couldn't take him on alone. Even with with Barry and his group, Kate, J'onn, Brainy, Nia. They weren't strong enough to handle Lex and the newer threat The Imperium.

Things were just not back to the way they were.

"Lena you have to eat. This isn't good for you." Lena ignored the coms coming from the computer. Sam was trying to get the CEO to eat. It's been almost a year without Kara. Nine months since she lost her best friend. Her love. Her only love. The person who believed her no matter how hard she tried to do things her way. Nine months since she last saw those loving blue eyes. Nine months since she last saw the blonde.

At the bare thought of the blonde, it caused the older woman to cry. Cry for what she lost, who she lost. Lost possibly the only true love she'll ever have. She never got the chance to tell Kara. Her stupid anger was in the way. She felt so...anger towards herself. Why did she have to be so stubborn.

"Lena I need your help." At the voice sounding so clear and close she jumped. She turned around and saw who it was. Barry Allen.

"Don't give me false hope Barry. I'm not strong enough for it." Barry put his hand on her shoulder.

"We will bring her back." Barry wasn't any better through out the nine months. He couldn't help the guilt he felt. He lost Oliver and then Kara. Kara wasn't supposed to die. She was supposed to live. He was devastated.

"Are we sure this is a good idea. I miss her just as much as anyone in this room but-" Lena looked at Kate, who was also present. "All I'm saying is that Alex should be here."

"No one has heard from her. She's been MIA. Sam is looking for her as we speak." Barry said as he focused on making sure everything was set. All they needed was-

"I got her." Lena's breath hitched at the sight of Clark Kent holding the pod. The pod they had Kara's funeral in. She'd want to be sent away like that. Like any other Kryptonitain's funeral. She felt her feet leading her to the pod right when Clark opened it. She felt the lump form in her throat at the sight of the blonde. There she was. Her eyes fell on the sight of a picture. A picture of her and Kara smiling at the camera. They were at game night just like every Friday. Her eyes filled with tears as she reached for it. She held it tightly.

"You'll see her in no time. Come on." Iris led her away as Clark put a comforting hand on her shoulder for a second and then picked up Kara's body. Gently putting her in the water. Pushing her down.

"I can charge up the box. Just give me a count down."

Lena looked down at the picture. Remembering the day. The last day she was ever at a game night she ever went to.

"Oh come on." Alex whined but the small grin on her face was still there.

"Sorry Alex." Kara sat next to Lena.

Lena chuckled and leaned towards the blonde. The rest of group they were already used how cuddly the pair were. Kara wrapped her and around the older woman's shoulder and Lena leaned further into the blondes embrace. Never has she felt so, calm. So loved. Never has she felt so warm inside. So...happy. Happy to have a friends. Happy to have Kara in her life.

She was snapped back to reality when she was thrown on her butt cause of the force. She wasn't the only one. Barry went through a wall Iris was also thrown back. As Kate and Clark.

Lena scrambled back to her feet and looked into the water but Kara wasn't there. It wasn't long before Barry and Clark took off after her. J'onn as well. He arrived right when Kal brought Kara. He wasn't a completely opposed to the plan. But he knew that there will be consequences.

"Kate?"

"I know come on." Kate quickly lead the Luthor out of the ship. Leading her to her motorcycle. When they arrived to Supergirl's destroyed memorial. They didn't expect to see Kara holding Kal in a choke hold. Looking confused and scared.

Lena quickly got off the bike and ran to her.

"Kara."

At the sound of the voice Kara froze, stopping her movements. She dropped Kal and turned around. Her blue eyes locking on to the green ones. Kara was still really confused on what exactly was happening. She couldn't really remember who these people were. But yet she knew Lena. All the moments they shared together came rushing in. The feelings. All came back.

"Lena." Kara raises her hands and gently cupped Lena's cheeks. Tears escaped Lena's eyes. Not believing that Kara was alive and standing right in front of her. Before she could say anything. Lena was wrapped in the arms she's missed so much. She leaned into the arms of the blonde resting her head on the woman's chest. Kara flew away. Leaving a confused team behind.

*

"Why?"

"We need you. I need you." Lena had just explained everything to the blonde. The blondes memories came back and she wasn't mad but she was confused on why they brought her back and not Oliver.

"But I thought you ha-No. I could never hate you Kara. I love you so much and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Kara. I was being stu-No you were hurt Lena. I understand that. But from now on no more lies. Okay?" Lena nodded and just hugged the blonde, wrapping her arms around the blondes waist. Kara smiled and returned the hug wrapping her arms around Lena's shoulders.

"By the way. I love you too." Lena looked up at the woman's eyes seeing that they were looking down at her as well. They both leaned in and shared the most gentle but passionate kiss they ever had. There lips moving in perfect sync. Once air became a problem they pulled away. But were still holding each other close.

"Please don't ever leave me again."

"I won't. I promise."
