Chapter 10 Square One

Marissa's P.O.V.

One thought, three words. What. The. Hell. Like seriously, I can't even with this place or these people. What the hell is wrong with this school and the kids that go here?

My plan should have worked, I should have been successful and achieved my goal. I should be one of the five popular if not the soon to be most popular kid at this school. Yet somehow, I find myself back at square one. My plan was perfect and flawless, but yet my plan failed. This school is full of spoiled rich brats and Dakota happens to be gay. By outing her, all the rich spoiled brats should have hated her and that should have made me popular. 

 I should be the most popular person in this school. I should be dating the most popular guy. I should be invited to the best parties. Everyone should want to be my friend. All the guys should want to date me. Dakota should still be a nobody. Dakota's only friends should be Liam and Bianca. Dakota should be the biggest looser at this school. The spoiled rich brats should hate Dakota and want nothing to do with her.

Instead it's the complete opposite. Everything is flipped at this ridiculous school. Dakota has gone from a nobody to the most popular kid. Everyone wants to be her friend. Maddison, Amber, Corbin, and Nathan all want to be Dakota's best friend and are always fighting for her attention. While I on the other hand am back to square one. I am a nobody. No one wants to be my friend. Kevin even broke up with me. The only reason we are still running partners is because it's too late for him to take his name off the ballet.

No matter, everything will make sense again soon. Plan a didn't work, so now its time for plan b. The school knows that Dakota is a girl and gay. What the school doesn't know is that Dakota is intersex. So now I just have to figure out the perfect way to reveal this. Plan b is to reveal that Dakota is intersex. If plan b doesn't work for whatever reason, then I'm going to put the backup backup plan into action, plan c. Plan c is to reveal a big secret of one of the four most popular kids in school.

Mark my words, I will be victorious. One of my plans will work. I will claim my rightful place as the most popular girl in school. And I will put Dakota in her rightful place.
