Team bonding had been Steve's idea, they were a team and needed to trust each other he said. The movie had also been his idea, Clint had suggested Truth or Dare but Steve had rejected that idea because it 'could lead anywhere' in his words, Natasha and Bruce had been happy to go along with the majority vote and Tony... Tony would have rather have been anywhere else. "Thor isn't here, so why do I have to be?" Tony asked as the team settled down in the living room, "Thor is in Asgard," Steve said, "it's not the same as simply not being bothered."

"Details." Tony replied, rolling his eyes. Steve shook his head before turning on the movie and taking his seat next to Natasha. The movie was an old 1980's film with bad acting and even worse special affects, the plot made no sense and the quality was pretty bad, tony glanced over to his team mates and saw that the only person really paying attention to the screen was Steve. Clint was lazily spinning an arrow around his finger, Natasha was picking at her nails occasionally looking up at the movie, Bruce was looking at the movie but his eyes were glazed over and unfocused. They just reached the midpoint of the film when they heard the tell tale sound of the elevator opening. Pausing the film Steve turned to Tony, "Is that Pepper?" he asked "No,"Tony replied, "She's in Japan."

"Then who's that?" Natasha questioned having looked up from her nails, Tony was about to reply when Steve put his hand up in a silence gesture. Straining their ears, they heard the soft sound of footsteps as somebody approached them. The team was instantly on their feet, Clint going for his bow, Natasha with a knife in either hand while everybody else readied themselves for a fight. What they saw shocked them. In front of them was the blue and red clad form of Spider-Man, a vigilante who had showed up around NewYork a few months ago, but that wasn't what shocked them the most. Underneath the mask Spider-Man was a kid. A kid with curly brown hair, big doe eyes and who couldn't have been older than fifteen. He stared at them with terrified eyes. Steve then noticed that he was holding his side in an odd way, that's when he saw the large patch of crimson that surrounded the area. Spider-Man opened his mouth as if to say something before his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed to the floor. Or he would have if Tony hadn't caught him. Steve hadn't even seen him move. Tony scooped the kid up in his arms before rushing of in the direction of the med bay, leaving his very confused team mates behind. "What the hell was that?!" Clint exclaimed. "Language." Steve said, more because he didn't know what to say. "Should we go with Stark?" Natasha asked.
"Nah, he looked like he had it under control." Clint replied. "How did he even get up here?" Steve questioned. "Maybe Starks worked with him before." Clint chimed in. "So he knew his identity."
"No," Natasha said, "did you see his face, he was as surprised as we were." They all fell into silence, nobody quite sure what to say. Bruce was the one to brake the silence, "how about we ask Tony when he gets back?" There was a quite murmur of agreement from the rest of the avengers before the sat back down. Half an hour pasted and Tony hadn't returned, the an hour. "That's it," Clint said, "I vote we go and find him."
"I'm not sure." Steve said. "Come on," Clint replied, "if he's keeping something from us, as his team we have a right to know."
"I'm not sure that makes sense." Natasha said. "Whatever." Clint responded, jumping up of the couch and headed for the elevator. Steve looked over to Natasha who shrugged before heading after the archer. Soon all of the remaining avengers were headed towards the med bay, "so what do think Starks connection to Spider-Man is?" Clint asked. "I don't know," Steve replied, "maybe he's helped him out in similar situations."
"Maybe he's Stark son." Natasha said. Clint choked on his laughter, "if Stark has a kid I will give you a hundred bucks." Natasha opened her mouth to say something but was cut of by the sound of someone shouting, "if you get stabbed you fucking call me!" It was Tony. The team rounded the corner and found themselves faced with a scene they none of them thought they would ever see. Tony was scolding a very sheepish looking kid who was propped up into a sitting position on one of the beds. The kid opened his mouth to say something but was cut of by Tony, "I swear I installed a protocol to alert me when something like this happens." Once again the kid went to say something but stopped when he caught sight of the avengers, his mouth snapping shut and his eye going wide. Tony, following the kids gaze, muttered "shit." under his breath. "What are you guys doing in here?" He asked. "We could ask you the same question." Before Tony could respond Clint chimed in, "who's the kid?"
"Spider-Man."
"Yeah I guessed that when we saw him the suit, I meant who is he to you." Tony took a deep breath as if preparing him self to do something stupid. "He is my son." There was silence. "Your what?" Steve said, he was the only one really capable of speech at that moment. "My son," Tony replied, "team meet Peter, Peter meet the team." Peter gave them a small wave, unable to speak as well. "Now if you don't mind I need to have a chat with my son about his stupidity." Tony said. "Uh yeah we'll leave you to it." Steve said before leaving with the rest of the team. "I was not expecting that." Clint said when they got out side, "yeah," Natasha said, turning to face him "you owe me a hundred bucks."
"Damit!" Clint exclaimed remembering his previous bet. Steve chuckled as they approached the elevator, fully intending to talk to Tony about this later. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAKED YOUR SUIT AGAIN?!" Tony's shouts echoed down the corridor, apparently he had his hands full with his son.
