Later turned out to be about four hours, when they had landed at the tower Tony had rushed the boy down to the medical bay leaving the team to wait for him to return to get their answers. Several hours later Tony had reappeared looking more tired than any of the avengers had ever seen him look, "Right what do you want to know?" He asked, slumping down into a chair. "How is He?" Steve asked, "He's broken his leg and two ribs along with a concussion but he'll be fine in a couple of days, he's unconscious at the moment though." Tony replied, "what do you actually want to know?"
"How about you explain everything." Sam said know that the team wanted to know everything from the beginning. "Well peter came to me when he was a few months old," Tony started, "his mother and her husband had been killed in a plane crash, she said in her will that I was the boys father and should anything happen to the two of them that she wanted him to live with me. So yeah, that's how I got my son." He finished, "So why did you keep him hidden?" Clint asked, "Why did you keep your family a secret Barton?" Tony replied, "to keep him safe from anybody who would try and get to me through him, and from the pressure of growing up in the spot light." The team took a moment to process everything that Tony had just said, falling into silence. An alert fro Tony's phone broke the quite that had settled, "You can come meet him if you want." Tony said looking down at the message on his phone, "What, now?" Steve asked, "Sure, why not?" Tony replied before leading the team in the direction of the Medbay. After a few minuets the team found them selves outside one of the Medbay's doors, Tony who was stood closes to the door took a deep breath before pushing it open. Inside the room was the teen aged superhero propped up into a sitting position by some pillows, his face a been cleaned of blood and had strips of medical tape up one side keeping the cut on his head closed while his left leg was encased in plaster. "Hey kiddo." Tony called as he entered the room, the kid whipped his head around to greet his dad but his mouth snapped shut when he saw the rest of the avengers behind him, "Peter this is the team, team meet my son, Peter." Tony said as he took a seat next to his kid, ruffling his hair as he did so. Peter still looked in shock so Steve decided to star the conversation, "It's nice to meet you Peter." he smiled at the boy, "Nice to meet you to captain Rodgers." Peter replied, having been snapped out his state of shock, "Call me Steve." After meeting the rest of the team, they found out quite a bit about Tony's son, apparently he was a genius like his father and had been spider-man for a little over a year, "So what is the vulture incident then?" Sam asked, for a moment Steve was confused by the question until he remembered what the boy had said on the jet, he'd been trapped under a building before during something he'd called the vulture incident. "Well," the boy said, "there was this guy who was using alien tech to build weapons and I tried to take him down but he dropped a warehouse on me." he finished, mumbling the last few words. The team shared a look, a guy had dropped a building on this kid, and several of them looked highly impressed, "Yeah, we'll be having discussions about you keeping that from me later," Tony said. looking at the boy with an unimpressed expression, "For now spider kid need rest.""But dad!"
"No buts. You have a concussion and multiple broken bones, so for now you rest." Tony exclaimed, paying no attention to the boys grumbling. "We'll let you rest then," Steve said, "goodnight peter, again, nice to meet you." Before turning to the door to leave followed by the others after they had said good bye. As they made their way upstairs Steve reflected on what he had learned that day, Tony had a son called Peter, said son was a genius and Spider-man and finally, Tony Stark cared an awful lot about his kid
