Tsunade continued with her examination and let a smile play on her lips, "the baby is fine, I can hear a heartbeat now. I'm going to get you an IV so you can start getting some nutrients back." The busty blonde stood and went to grab the IV and some pain medicine to help Keiko sleep.
Keiko felt a wave of relief wash over her, "thank goodness." She laid back down and allowed her racing heartbeat to calm down.
"Thank you so much Tsunade. We really appreciate you." Kakashi's warm hands engulfed my right hand, allowing a sense of calm wash over me.
"Go ahead home Tsunade-sama. Thank you for everything." The black haired woman kept her voice steady, surprising the blonde but her gaze softened.
"Call me if you need anything." She stood and left the couple, as soon as she opened the door she was met by none other that Ibiki, who actually seemed concerned? "Don't raise your voice or move too quickly. She has a lot of trauma." Tsunade warned the scarred man who let out a deep sigh before entering the room slowly. The blonde and pink haired students waiting outside patiently, but Tsunade's words gave them no comfort.
"Keiko, I'm here to remove that mark." Ibiki looked at her with concern, noting the bandages and blank look in her eyes. Without even hearing her talk he knew something horrible had happened.
"Thank you Ibiki." Kakashi said tiredly, he had bags under his eyes and from how he interacted with his wife, compared to before, was awkward.
"Of course." The tall man quickly formed some signs and gently pressed his hand over Keiko's and soon the mark started to fade away and almost instantly she seemed to fall asleep. "You should get some sleep too Kakashi. What happened is something that is going to take time. Don't be afraid to ask for help." The older man rested a hand on the 6th Hokage.
"I can't just leave her Ibiki." He sighed.
"I'll watch over her tonight, you need to meet with Shikaku and your boys need you. You're still the Hokage, even if it means making difficult decisions. I'll make sure to let you know if anything happens at all. She should be able to sleep through the night with the pain medication." Ibiki noticed that Kakashi was understandably still hesitant. The interrogation specialist then looked down at the woman, she was the closest he had to a daughter and even though he was a hardened man, he still wanted her to be safe.
"I'm trusting you Ibiki. Even if she wakes up I want to know and be here for her." Kakashi's tired eyes rested on his wife, he leaned down and kissed her forehead ever so softly. With one more longing look, he exited the room. It was like a storm cloud had followed him wherever he went. Obviously what had happened was weighing deeply on both Keiko and Kakashi. Ibiki sighed but knew the silver haired man would feel better after seeing Obito and Izuna. He had never seen them fail to put a smile on his face, and he knew Kakashi needed to be in a better state of mind in order to be there for Keiko.
He remembered the first mission he sent her on. She had returned sopping wet from a water prison jutsu, but she never once blamed him or anyone else. She just always wanted to be helpful, to prove that she wasn't weak. Maybe it was the pressure Fugaku put on her as his first born and as an Uchiha, but there is only so much pressure this woman can take before she breaks down forever.
Keiko POV
"You're mine, and he will know from my mark on you that you are not worth anything. Obviously you could never be strong enough to even protect yourself." Jun's body was still pressed on my back after defiling my body. Since he was reanimated, he wasn't doing it to have pleasure, but to truly bring me pain.
"Stop it! I don't want it. Please!" I screamed into the gag that was shoved so far into my mouth it almost was down my throat. Warm tears streamed down my face.
