Every time I see you, I die a little more

I went up stairs, and went into grays room and went out the window sense my room is right next to his, even our parents made a bridge for us when we were little, and it's still sturdy. I get in my room, change in some shorts, and a black hoodie. I get my phone and go back to his room, and go down stairs into the kitchen. The timer rings when I take the last step.

K: "right on time"
Nat: "want me to help you?"
K: "sure"

He got up from the couch, went to the kitchen. I give him mittens so he doesn't burn his hands, and he put the pizzas on the stove.

K: "thanks"
Nat: "no problem"
G: "what movies do you want to watch"
K: "I picked the last time"
Nic: "we know, we had to sit here for an hour to watch To All The Boys I Love Before"
K: "what it's a good movie"
Nic: "sure it is"
Kat: "maybe a scary movie"
G: "yea sure"

Me and the guys all looked at each other, we all knew why she wants a scary movie, so she can be on gray when the jump scares come.

K: "well witch movie"
J: "how about IT"
Nat: "sounds good"

We put the movie on, and all the jump scares were interrupted by katana fake screaming and going into grays lap. We hear the front door open.

G's mom: "we're home"
G: "hey mom"
G's mom: "oh, hey boys didn't know you guys were hanging out today"
G: "it was kind of the spare of the moment"
G's mom: "oh, well that's fine, but they have to leave pretty soon"
G:"k"
K: "hey mama"
G's mom: "hey honey"

Grays mom walked to the couch, and gives me a hug.

G's mom: "ready for the dinner"
K: "yea, I love your cooking, just don't tell my mom"

We both laughed

Kat: "hi Grayson's mom"
G's mom: "hi sweetie, how are you"
Kat: "good"
G's mom: "hey do you want to join us for dinner"

Please say no, please say no.

Kat: "sure"

I went into the kitchen to help grays mom with the food.

Nat: "hey I think I'm going to head out see you at school"
K: "bye, see you"
G: "see you"
J, nic: "yea, same"
K: "bye guys"

I start to get everything ready for grays mom to start cooking, I always help her with this type of stuff.

G: "hey me and katana are going upstairs"
G's mom: "ok but no ruckus"
G: "k mom"

They both went upstairs

K: "I really don't like them together"
G's mom: "me neither"
K: "then why did you invite her"
G's mom: "I have a plan"
K: "does this plan involve me?"
G's mom: "mostly, yes"
K: "fine, but no embarrassing things"
G's mom: "I can't promise anything"

We both laughed, and went back to cooking. A hour had passed, and my parents had arrived.
