Pull me apart.
Oh! how deadly you are!
Like a damn storm -
That's what you believe.You're pretending
To be a god or something.
It makes me sick;
You make me sick.Your pretentious gaze
And smug smile.
You're condescending,
And yet you're so weak. You're nothing but
A bloody facade.
Take off your damn mask:
There's no point in it.You think you're swathed
In satin perfection.
You think I can't see it.
You think I don't know it's there. Are you truly powerful?
Pull me apart.
If you think your strength is limitless
Then show me.I see you in the way
Your hand clenches,
And your teeth stutter
For just a second.I see you in my mirror.
You look at me with similar eyes
To my own -
Your mouth is feeble.I see you in my reflection.
Don't believe I noticed you
For any real reason.
You're just another mime.And yet - and yet -
Your smile (when it's not smug)
Is the most beautiful thing
In my pretentious life. And when you look at me
With those pretentiously lovely eyes,
I can feel myself being
Pulled apart.
