Chapter 1: HER

I don't know why we end up being Friends. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that we should be together like boyfriend and girlfriend. My point is, we don't have the mutual favorites like what friends have but we enjoy each others company.

We met each other in accident. Literally. I was 10 years old that time. Mag-isa akong naglalaro sa isang public park at wala ni isang bata ang gustong makipaglaro sa akin. In the past seven years of our Friendship, Zedrick already used to visit me in our Flower Shop, in our house, in school and often in my room. It's already normal circumstances that he exactly sleeps beside me and just cuddle but sometimes nuzzling his nose in my neck and just reasoned out that he likes my sweet scent that gave him an idea to call me 'Sugar'.

But it's annoying sometimes. His actions was giving people a malicious thoughts that sometimes failed to understand that were not 'In a relationship'.

We're just a friends for petes sake!

I little lift my head when I suddenly heard the sound of our cute wind chime that was hanged above the door, indicating that someone entered the shop. And it was just Zedrick. My oh so called boyfriend. Yuck!. He smiled widely while walking inside the shop and stopped in front of me but there's a counter that keep us apart.

"Flower for my favorite girl" he said with his flirtatious smile while handling a tulip flower that came from his back.

Umirap ako sa kanya at pinagpatuloy ang pag arrange ng isang bouquet "Ibalik mo 'yan, Zedrick" wika ko at tumawa nalang siya at binalik ang tulip sa kinunan niya.

"By the way, nakapag review ka na? Narinig ko inatras nila ang date ng ating exam" aniya at bumalik unahan ko. Bahagyang yumuko ang hating katawan at nilagay niya ang parehong siko niya sa counter, pinasiklop ang mga kamay at nagmamasid sa aking ginagawa.

"Inatras? Bakit?" tanong ko habang inaayos na ang ribbon.
