"I was the youngest major in the Texas cavalry all without having any real battle," Jasper said

"Until," Bella said

"Till I met a certain immortal. Maria, I was riding back to Galveston after evacuating a column of women and children when I saw them. I immediately offered them my aid," Jasper said as he kisses my head.

Jasper Flashback

It was three girls.

"Lovely. And an officer," one of the girls said as Jasper got off the horse and bowed his head with his hat off.

"You'd better do it, Maria. I can never stop once I've started," The other girl said

"What's your name, soldier?" Maria said

"Major Jasper Whitlock, ma'am," Jasper said

"I hope you survive, you may be of great use to me," Maria said as she walked up to Jasper and bit him.

End of Flashback

"Maria was creating an army," Bella said

"They were very common in the South there were constant brutal battles for territory, Maria won them all. She was smart, careful and she had me. I was her second in command. My ability to control emotions served her well. I trained her newborns an endless occupation since she never let them live beyond their first year. It was my job to dispose of them. I could feel everything they felt, I thought what Maria and I had was love. But I was her puppet. She pulled the strings," Jasper said as I growled as Jasper put his hand on my face to calm down.

"I didn't know there was another way until I found Alice and Luke. Now, she'd seen me coming, of course," Jasper said as he chuckled

"You kept us waiting long enough," Alice said with Luke arms around her.

"My apologies ma'am," Jasper said as I chuckled

"I don't know what I have become if she didn't tell me I will be meeting my mate and my true happiest to this world," Jasper said smiling at me.

"You never have to be that again," I said as Jasper kissed me on the lips with so much love and passion.

We all went home the next day I been practicing on my powers and training with Sam on my wolf side.

We all went to an opening it was me, Jasper, Bella, Edward, and Jacob.
"You're not fighting? What, did you pull a muscle or something?" Jacob said

"Oh leave him alone," I said rolling my eyes

"He's doing it for me, okay?" Bella said

"Whatever just tell me the plan," Jacob said

"This field will give us an advantage in battle, We need to lure the newborns with Bella's scent since Sky is fighting we won't need to put Sky scent since they will smell her but it needs to end here," Jasper said

"Edward and I are going to a campsite. Even if he carries me they'll still pick up on our scents and it can't be Sky because they know her scent to," Bella said

"Your stench, however is revolting," Edward said as I started to laugh.

"Dude, you really don't wanna start comparing stinks," Jacob said

"Ok ok cut it out continue," I said

"What he means is that your scent will mask mine if you carry me," Bella said

"Done," Jacob said

"This is not a good idea," Edward said

"Edward, they won't want to get anywhere near his odor, Okay let's just try it," Jasper said as Bella went to Jacob as he picked her up.

"Eau de wolf coming up," Jacob said

"Run," Edward said as I laughed and he groaned as Jacob started to run. Me and Jasper ran after them and came back to Edward.
