A day in my life ~ chapter 21

I woke up in a bit sunny morning. I loved the sun when it came out of the clouds but I had nothing against rain. It relaxed me but sometimes it made me a bit sad. I slowly got out of bed, put my slippers on and opened the window. Fresh morning air with a small smell of the sea hugged my cheeks and made my morning start with a smile. I decided that today I'm going to go for a walk down the beach. I left the window open and grabbed my phone from the floor and opened twitter. I checked my mentions a bit. Filled with hate like always and like always I tried to ignore it. I hate those kind of people who just insult people who did nothing wrong. I made a few reply’s, tweeted Liam then I saw a tweet, giving me a great idea "@AllyPayne why don't you come a week sooner? We miss you here in London xx'' What if I do return a week sooner? That would be the most awesome thing ever but I do need to ask my dad first. I checked my phone for his number and walked towards Nate's room. I knocked and after some time he opened looking really annoyed ''what do you want?'' he hissed at me ''dad's number'' I said ''why should I give it to you?'' he asked ''cos if you do I might be returning home a week sooner so you'll be home alone for a whole week'' he immediately smiled ''sure thing'' he said and in a minute or two he gave me his phone already dialling the number. ''What do you want?'' I heard his voice ''dad?'' I asked at first ''oh it's you. What do you want?'' he said annoyed ''can I go home a week earlier?'' I asked. I was really nervous what the answer is going to be. ''Yeah I don't care'' he said and hung up ''bye Nate, I'm going packing'' I said letting him know I can go. It's the 18th today so I have only 5 days here. A huge party was going out in my head. ''Don't forget to pack all your drugs as well'' he shouted behind me- here we go again. I sighed and ignored him. I got in my room and started packing; I slowly taped off photos from the wall, a poster of the band…When all that was done I turned on the radio and started to put all the fancy clothes in my suit case. I couldn't wait to finally see my room. As stupid as it sounds I kind of miss it.

*afternoon*

I was slowly walking down the beach. It was beautiful here but it wasn't the right place for me. It never was and sadly it never will be. I'm young, but in my life I saw things I shouldn't, I have so many things cleared in my head. Not to get pregnant before turning 22, don't drink and drive, don't drink too much, don't smoke or do drugs. I was determined that I won't do the same mistakes as my aunt did. I know why my mum is so worried about me and Liam but at the same time she doesn't want to put us in a cage. I understand that half of the time but I tend to push the painful memories somewhere I won't think about them. It was for all the best to be honest. My aunt was a beautiful woman. She was 2 years older than my mum. After her husband died she drank a lot, took drugs and things went downhill. I remember when my mum told me that she died. I was only 8 but I really loved her smiling face. I pushed the sad memory away and watched the waves. They were in such beautiful blue colour. No words could describe it but at the same time every word did. I felt a twitch in my pocket. It was my phone – I finally got a text "Hai Ally. Long-time no see… I miss you and I hope you are doing well. We will see each other soon. I love you Harry xx'' the words “I love you" for a brief second meant something more but I really wasn't prepared to think about that.“Haii Hazz. I'm doing well'' What a lie I thought to myself "just walking down the beach. It's really early in the morning there. What are you doing up? Say hello to the boys and add a hug. Ally xx" I didn't want to add anything to personal so I just pressed the send button. ''That's nice to hear. Nothing, I woke up to early :/ and now I'm bored. Harry xx'' I smiled at the response, with no reason ''I'm getting home on the same day as you :D Did Liam tell you that? Or did I? Ally xx'' I quickly pressed send ''I think Liam mentioned it. Well I'll be picking you up :) Don't worry. Need to catch some sleep now. Have a good evening. Harry xx'' he texted me, I decided that I won't respond. It was getting colder so perhaps it was time to return but before I did that I decided that I'll go to the pier and just not think for a few minutes. I slowly walked down the pier, watching my every step because it wasn't the safest pier ever… I tried the wooden fence at the end and surprisingly it was solid. I was sure the wood is tilt from the water and the weather. I leaned on it and watched the waves again. I never understood why people do this but it was relaxing me and that was all that mattered. After the sun almost disappeared I finally decided to go back. The walk back through the quiet city was a bit creepy but I liked that I was alone but not really alone if you know what I mean. I decided to finally replay to Luna's text saying "where are you? You're missing work for the 2nd or 3rd day now! Everything okay? Luna xx'' I didn't know how to tell her. It was too late for a visit but I need to tell her. I decided that it's the best to text her the whole story ''I'm okay & sorry that I'm missing work. I have been really busy lately. Tomorrow is my last work day at the café. I decided to quit working there – I'm going home in 5 days. I'm so excited. Do you have time on 20th and 21st so we can have a small good bye party? If you want to, no pressure :) Ally xx" I put my phone away. Before I knew it I was standing in front of the houseNate was probably out partying. I took a quick shower and then it was time for bed, for some unknown reason I just couldn't sleep. I decided to go and see if any of the boys are logged in Skype. I haven't talked to them in ages and a chat with someone familiar like Harry or Liam would be really great for my soul. The anticipation was huge and finally a glance of luck in my pocket. Harry was on, before I could even find out if I look decent enough for a chat the call was made. I answered and almost immediately saw Harry's huge smile ''hello'' I said smiling to him ''Hai Allison'' he said excited. ''What's up there?'' I asked ''nothing really, we are so bored. It's too hot outside so the show has been moved to the evening'' he let me know ''aww that's not that bad. You can do a twitcam or do an ask Harry to keep yourself busy'' I positively said ''no, I much rather speak to you'' he said winking ''you'll never change'' I said and smiled.

I woke up around 6am to get ready for my last day at work. I'm going to miss that small café. It's was kind of a cute little building. I got up and got dressed as quick as possible. In the kitchen I made some cereal as my breakfast. After I finished eating it, I grabbed my phone and headed to work. I was walking down the street with a cup of Starbucks coffee (my late night talk with Harry wasn't the best idea), when suddenly I bumped into someone. ''I'm sorry'' I quickly apologized and continued walking towards the café. I was already a bit late. ''Good morning'' I greeted all people in the café "morning Ally. You're a bit late" Leah said, she's the lady who I saw first when I first came in this café a while ago. ''I'm sorry that I'm late for a change I ate at home" I said smiling, putting my apron on. ''Well we missed you around" Leah said, "I'm sorry. I had so much things going on. I'll work overtime so I'll make it up to you'' I said ''no need for that'' she quickly said while making fresh coffee ''it's not a problem. I'll miss this little café'' I said ''why?'' Leah asked. ''I'm leaving on 23rd" I said in a sad tone. ''We'll miss you too" Leah said and gave me a quick hug "could I ask for a favour?'' I said, remembering that Luna need's the weekend off "sure" she said. First I gave her the paper with the order "Luna and I would like to have a good bye party through the weekend. Can you give her the weekend off?" I asked ''well… I think I can. Me, Tanya and Kate will handle it'' she smiled and disappeared into the small kitchen "thank you" I shouted behind her. The rest of the day went by very peacefully and most of the time I sat behind the counter and chatted with Leah and few customers. We had a small lunch around 1 o'clock. Just as we finished lunch a group of people came into the café. I didn't even have the time to think, I was running up and down the café. Taking orders and delivering them… Around 6 when Luna finally came I was tired like I ran a marathon. I was sitting behind the counter with a glass of water in my hand. ''Hey guys'' she said smiling ''hi Luna'' I greeted her ''what happened to you?'' she asked a bit choked ''a coach'' I said and took a sip ''I should have come sooner'' she said sitting next to me ''nah, at least I got some exercise'' she nodded and put her school bag on the floor. ''How was school?'' Leah asked Luna. ''Fine but the volleyball practice was a bit harder today'' she said smiling. I swear she is always smiling, no matter what. ''When should I come around?'' I asked Luna. We decided that we'll be staying at her house; she'll be home alone this weekend. ''Around 10?'' she asked. She liked to sleep a bit more when she had the time "let's make it eleven" I said smiling. The rest of the evening went by very peacefully and most of the time I sat behind the counter and chatted with Leah and Luna. "Well Leah I wish you the best of luck with this small place, I really enjoyed working here" I said my good byes. Leah hugged me tight and said "what do you think about one last cup of hot chocolate?'' I just nodded and sat back down. Around nine I was finally on my way home. Nate was out partying so I could take all the time I need to take a shower, eat something, and prepare myself for bed. Before doing all that I took a minute to really see myself in the mirror. My skin was looking really green, you could clearly see that I cried the past month a lot, my hair was a mess; I lost more than a few pounds. I just blamed the stress and myself for it. Even though I should blame Nate and his mean friends.
