**jays pov**

Why was i in a horrible mood you may ask?

Well I got a call from my nan saying my dad had been in a crash
Now I knew that he drove Sam's mum home so I could only assume Sam was gonna get a call soon.
I was also pretty jealous of joe he was very handsome and sam seemed to like him

I know what I saw he, joe, was trying to kiss MY boyfriend it hurt a little it seemed like Sam wanted him to well who knows maybe he did

The crash was fatal that's what my nan said I had a bad feeling about all of this

I needed to find sam so that's what I did, he was of course hanging around with him. Him being joe

I apologised to joe and asked if I could have a minute with Sam joe asked Sam if he wanted to be left with me I felt hurt but honestly i understood

"Joe" he sighed "He's not gonna do anything I'll catch up with you"

I liked how joe was protecting sam but at the same time wasn't that my job?

"What did you need jay?" He asked politely

" Well um..My nan called"

"That's good" he said looking confused

"No it's not she-she told me my dad got into a crash"

" Oh jay I'm so sorry" he sighed

"Your mum was in the car" I huffed getting annoyed how he didn't understand

He froze looking at me

"Do you understand?" I asked him

" Hm.. " he nodded before giving me a weak smile

He went over to joe and hugged him

Why didn't he hug me? Maybe he felt awkward i mean I did really upset him

A few hours past he got the phone call and he was very upset
His phone call wasn't the same as mine his mum had ended up passing while my dad had lots of broken bones but nothing life changing

I felt bad for sam he didn't really have much family he had a nan but she was in a care home so he couldn't go and live with her maybe my dad would let him live with us but I'm not sure if he would want to i needed to make amends with both him and joe

"Joe" I shouted running to catch up with him

"'sup man?"

" uh i just wanted to say sorry"

"You already did that" he replied letting out a laugh

"Ye but I just wanted to make sure we're good?"

" dude of course we are, I understand you got protective of your boyfriend so would I man it's honesty good" he said shaking my hand he had a wonderful smile plastered on his face

"Cheers man" i let out a nervous laugh before asking him the question that's been playing on my mind

"You know when you tried to kiss sam?"

His face dropped as if I was gonna kill him

"Dude I'm sorry really i am"

"No no it's fine but"

"Hm?" He said tilting his head

"Did he want you to kiss him?"

" I'm not sure but he didn't try stop it but nothing really happened " he said shaking his head

"Ok thanks"

He left giving me a wave before running off to his friends all of them were very good looking

Now to look for sam and apologise

Thing is he was nowhere to be seen i found joe and asked him if he's seen him of course joe knew where he was

"He went to the tuck shop about 3 minutes ago to get himself something to take to his mums grave"

"What like?"

" ya know they sell little teddies in there so he wanted one for his mum makes sense to me"

I nodded and headed up to find sam

As joe said he was buying a teddy they were really small but they were the most adorable things ever

"Can we talk..?" He said shyly paying for the small teddy

"Of course" was all I said before walking out the shop

" I might have to go into care" He whispered looking at the small bear in his hands

"Wait what?"

" w-well where else am I gonna live jay? In a tree? " he huffed before wiping his eyes that were for see welling up

"I don't know..couldn't my dad take you in?"

" I can't ask him to do that even tho he did kill my mum"

"What!? No he freaking didn't!"

" well he was driving! "

I could see where Sam was coming from but he didn't mean it he was just upset about his mum and if I was him I'd be saying the same

"He would happily take you in sam"

"You don't know that"

"I do" I whispered before leaning in

"W-what are you doing" he whispered before looking at the floor

"I..I don't know" I blushed looking at the small teddy

He just giggled at me and we went back to camp

"Heya sam you ok?" I hear from a distances

"Trynna be"

"You good man?" The young man asked me

"Uh yeah?"

" good um i need to take your friend joes waiting for him"

I was very annoyed why did he need my boyfriend?

Joe was a cool guy and all but he doesn't know when to back off does he?

"I'll see ya later jay" Sam smiled before running off with this young Charmin' man

I felt bad for sam he didn't have his dad around anymore

They got divorced a while back not for any reason tho just didn't feel it anymore

He really likes his dad but He travels all the time so He couldn't look after him

He had his nan but she wasn't very well I kinda had a feeling she'd sadly be leaving us soon

The doctors aren't very hopeful for her but she's a strong soul so who knows
