i was eating dinner with ethan and my family, as they love him.

the first time they met they couldn't stop gushing to me about how great he is and how perfect he is for me.

at first i was nervous they wouldn't like him because my parents are very judgmental people but was extremely relieved when they did.

all of us eat our food happily while ethan and my dad talk about politics, something i can barely understand.

my mom and i talk about ethan, even though he was right next to me, and she keeps complimenting him and his manners.

i wanted the salt because my chicken felt tasteless, also because i'm obsessed with salt.

the salt was on the other side of the table which was beside my parents.

"daddy, can you pass me the salt?" i ask politely, reaching up my glass to drink some water after swallowing my food

both ethan and my dad reach for the salt and i choke on my water; my dads eyes widen in anger, ethan stutters and fails to form a sentence while my mom bursts out laughing.

"why the hell would you reach for the salt!" my dad yells at ethan, the poor boy now looking flushed and embarrassed.

"and why are you calling him daddy, y/n!" he roars, now facing me as i slump in my seat.

"get out of my house!"

ethan and i immediately scramble to gather our things and rush to the door as my dad and mom follow behind us.

"this is unbelievable." my dad spits at me, with anger in his eyes.

"oh shut up, y/d/n! you love it when i call you daddy." my mom groans, annoyed.

ethan and i's eyes widen in shock and my jaw falls to the ground, bursting out in laughter to earn a death stare.

my dad shuts the door in our face and i couldn't stop laughing, ethan on the other hand was as red as a tomato.

"oof daddy, that was a close one." i tease ethan, once we enter the car, and he glares at me before laughing.

"don't even try, babe."
