chapter 15

Carli's pov:
I take the blade away from my wrist and look at Jesse with big eyes.

"Carli... what the hell" he says looking at me shocked.

"I-im sorry" I whisper and look down.

"Why.. how.. when" he says so shocked, he could barely speak.

"I have self harmed in the past... I haven't in a while but theres so much shit going on.. I cant handle it. Colby hates me. The guy I looked up to for years hates me." I say as tears go down my face.

"He doesnt hate you carli. Hes in love with you. He lost you and he can't handle that. He misses you." He tells me as he sets down with me.

"Are you sure.. he looks at me with so much hatred.." I say looking at jesse.

"He lost you and he is depressed and upset and numb. He wants you back." He tells me.

"He is the reason why we broke up.. I should  miss him.. and I do! But I shouldn't. He cheated on me. He didnt try to stop it. He cheated on me In public! Who does that!?" I say getting angry.

"Hey calm down. I'm pissed that he hurt you but he made a mistake. He deserves a second chance." Jesse says.

"Too late." I whisper and look down.

"How is it too late?" He asked me confused.

"I'm with maverick now" I say.

He nods and looks away from me.

"Carli, you can be hurting yourself. Especially over Colby. You have to stay strong." He says as he grabs my blade.

"Are there anymore?" He asked me while looking at me in the eyes.

"No" I whipser.

"Good" he says. He stands up and walks off but not before kissing my head.

I lay down and look at the bunk above me. I shouldn't do something so stupid over just a guy. I need to stay strong. I smile and turn over and closing my eyes and falling into a peaceful happy sleep.
