Chapter 8

Carli's pov: 
I get up and start getting dressed for mine and colby's little "date" or whatever you want to call it.

I put on a white skirt that goes to mid thigh along with a white long sleeve tight belly shirt that goes just above my bellybutton. I then put my wavy hair into a pony tail and then slide on my white low top converse. I walk to the bottom of the bus and see Colby, sam and jesse.

"Hey guys, Colby I'm ready" I say.

He nods.

"Were gonna go, see you guys later" he tells the guys. I notice that jesse winked at Colby teasingly making me blush.

We close the door to the bus and start walking down the street towards Starbucks.

Once we get there we walk in and order our coffee's and then set in the back and start talking to eachother.

"So how long have you known maverick and cash for?" He asked.

"About a year or so. There really great people" I say smiling.

"You got a beautiful smile carli" he says making me blush.

"Thank you" I say.

He nods.

"So, dani, how long has she been your friend" he asked me.

"For as long as I can remember. Shes been there for me through everything. From the time where I felt like I was worthless to the time I had my friend kiss to them time I lost someone important to me to now. Shes been there when no one else was. So how long have we been friends? Were not friends. Shes like my sister" I say telling him.

"Wow... that's kinda like with my friend sam. we've been friends for years but hes more like a brother to me. Hes been there through everything. My depression, my first girlfriend, when I was bullied, to now. Being youtubers and having alot of people support us. We built a family. So me and Sam arent really friends. Hes my brother. Were a family" he says making me smile.

"We are so cheesy with our friends" I say giggling making him laugh too.

"Yes we are" he says stopping laugh but then starts staring into my eyes making me blush.

Maybe i have a little crush on him..

Maverick's pov:
"Hey jesse wheres carli?" I ask.

"Shes on her date with Colby" he says not looking up from his phone.

I nod and go back to my bunk. Her date with Colby.. I thought she liked me. I guess not. I guess she was leading me on. I just really like her and now I may have losted her to Colby.

I lay down and put my earbuds in before playing some music and instantly dozing off into a peaceful slumber.

"Maverick" I hear that sweet voice. I open my eyes and see carli standing in front of me.

"Hey" I say yawning.

"Can I talk to you about something?" She asked kinda nervous.

"Sure. Always" I say.

"Your not ready for a relationship.. right? That's why you haven't asked me out yet" she says.

I nod.

"I need your permission since your my friend but could I go out with colby.. it's just I really like him and he likes me" she says.

I look down.

"Yeah. I dont mind. Whatever makes you happy" I say looking up and putting on a fake smile.

"Omgg thank you!" She says squealing while hugging me. I hug her back and inhale her scent. I'm gonna miss her.

She lets go and I do the same. She smiles and walks off guessing she gonna tell Colby yes.

It's exactly what I thought.. I lost her to Colby.
