chapter 13

Carli's pov:
"Hey hey, it's ok carli.. he didnt deserve you" mav says to me as I cry my eyes out.

"I just dont understand.. wasnt I good enough?" I say as more tears come.

Maverick wraps his arms around my body pulling me closer if that's even possible. I wrap my arms around him and lay my head on his chest.

"You are enough. He just doesnt see how amazing and beautiful and caring and loving you are. He lost something very special in his life." He says. I look up at him with my teary eyes.

"Maverick.. why are you so nice to me?" I ask.

"Because your my friend and you mean alot to me" he says not looking at me.

I set up from my spot on the couch.

"Maverick.. tell me why you really are nice to me" I say.

He sets up and looks at me.

"I cant." He says sighing.

"Yes you can.. please tell me." I beg.

"Fine! Because I'm falling in love with you carli. I really fucking love you but I can't have you" he says and looks down.

Oh my god. I knew he had a crush on me but he loves me... holy shit.

"Maverick.." I whisper.

He gets up.

"I know you dont feel the same way about me.." he says.

I stand up and walk over to him.

"Maverick.. I love you too. I really do. I have since I met you" I say smiling a little bit.

"Really?" He asked surprised

"Yes. I really love you" I say giggling.

He walks closer to me and wraps his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his neck and lean in. Right as his lips are almost on mine, the bus door opens and in walks...
