Part Nine

Scott's POV
A nurse takes away the baby Lauren has just birthed. A baby girl. Lauren gives me a tired smile. I smile back a feeling of pride filling my body. Yammy rushes in with Kyle on her heals.
"OMG! Lauren we where just visiting Lizzie when." She stops and hugs Lauren. Kyle smiles at me and moves to stand next to me. The nurse returns with our baby in her arms.
"Healthy" she informs us and leaves handing me the baby.
"What's her name" Yammy asks craning her neck to look at the baby I hold in my arms.
"Isabella" I say handing our precious child to Lauren. She cradles Is in her arms and smiles
"Is for short" she says
"Aww hi Is I'm your auntie Yammy" Yammy says
"Oh Yammy" Lauren laughs
Isabella giggled faintly
"She likes you" I say
Lauren hands me Isabella and I rock her back and forth and she falls asleep. A nurse comes to collect her for another check up and put her in the baby room. Lauren watches the nurse leave taking our baby with her.
One year later because I'm to lazy to explain gettin g out of the hospital. 😂
Lauren's POV
Today is Izzys birthday I call her Izzy now for some reason it suits her better. I wake up early to send the confirmation texts for her one invite to her party. Meri Lizzie and Joel's daughter. Meri and Lizzie have become good friends. Lizzie confirms that they will be here and I smile excited to see Meri.
Scott's POV
I wake up to find Lauren is already up. She has made Izzy her favorite breakfast for her birthday: blueberry pancakes.
"Morning Is" I say giving her a hug.
She smiles her eyes are like mine a light blue her hair is like Lauren's her black she's just missing the eyes and purple streaks and she could be a mini Lauren! Lauren serves me a pancake and I smile leaning over the counter to kiss her.
"Ewwww" Isabella giggles covering her eyes
I laugh and ruffle her hair. She smiles and hops onto my lap and finishes her breakfast there.
Lizzie and Joel arrive around three with their daughter Meri. Izzy yelps excitedly when she sees Meri and they run off together to play. Lizzie looks around the house which Lauren has decorated with pink streamers and pink balloons. A large happy birthday sign hangs above the TV. We grab drinks and head outside to catch up. Lizzie and Lauren gossip about things and talk about raising a wild and crazy child. They laugh occasionally and I smile as I listen to Joel talk about how Meri has started ballet. I laugh when I see videos of Meri twirling in a pink leotard and tutu with a pink streamer streaking behind her. She leaps and twirls before pausing in some sort of ballet pose before rushing over to the camera yelling:
"Can I see! Can I see!"
Suddenly I hear crying Lauren and I exchange looks before rushing into the house leaving Lizzie and Joel sitting on the porch in shock.
