Lizzie looks up at as when we enter.
"Hey" She says her voice tired and weak.
"Omg! Are you okay?" I ask rushing over to her and giving her a small hug
"Yes our baby girl is just fine and so am I" she says happily
"Omg its a girl I'm so happy for you Lizzie! What's her name?" I ask smiling
"Meri" She says
I know this is her dogs name but hey it works. Lol! 😂
"That's a gorgeous name!" I say repeating the name in my head
"Congratulations" Scott says he is smiling to but our smiles are nothing compared to the smile on Lizzie's glowing face.
A nurse walks in holding a little baby in her arms. She hands the baby to Lizzie and smiles.
"She's a healthy happy baby" she informs Lizzie. Joel sighs from the door way and smiles. I walk over to Lizzie and look down at the little newborn baby she holds in her arms. Meri looks up at Lizzie with beautiful milky brown eyes and gives a small giggle. Lizzie laughs and holds Meri close. Meri starts crying and Scott and I are kicked out so the little cutie can eat. We are kicked out before we get to give our news. I am pregnant we founds our about a month after Lizzie declared her pregnancy but we never got around to telling anyone. My belly is really big and people have been figuring out. Actually everyone know except Lizzie and Joel. I haven't seen them since I found out Lizzie was pregnant so I haven't had the chance I have been to busy I have been going to parental classes and reading everything I can about pregnancy and babies. Scott has been to he is an anxious father. I'm due a little less than a month and I feel bloated. When we get home I rush to the fridge starving. I grab a plate of muffins and enjoy one as I sit on the coach snuggled up against Scott watching a movie. I'll stop by the hospital tomorrow to tell Lizzie and Joel the news. Suddenly a huge cramp hits me and I give a small scream
Scott's POV
Lauren gives a muffled yell and clutches her stomach.
"Lauren!" I say worriedly
"H-h-hospital" she pants sweat appearing on her forehead. I rush her to the car and speed away. What is happening? Is she birthing early? Is she okay? I try and push those thoughts from my mind as I speed towards the hospital.
