No Ones POV
A Day Later
Lauren still sits on her hospital bed. The doctors have concluded that she has suffered another heart attack and in result has received a concussion. Isabella has been sent to love with Lizzie, Joel, and their daughter Meri for the time being.
Lauren stirs in her bed, nurses check her over and give her food and water helping her come to terms with where she is.
Lauren's POV
I attempt at asking the nurses where I am and where Izzy is but soon my head starts to ache. The nurses lightly push me back down and begin to explain somethings.
"You fell and hit your head during a heart attack, your daughter has been sent to live with you friends Lizzie and Joel since you don't have a husband-"
Tears sting my eyes and I try to hold them back, but soon they break my barrier and come flooding out. The nurses look at each other worriedly and one leaves. She comes back with a syringe. They squeeze it into my tube and the IV starts to feed the drug into my bloodstream. Slowly my eyes grow heavy, I fight to keep them open but soon the drug has taken over. My eyes slide closed, my tense muscles loosen, and soon I'm drifting to sleep. The drug helping to guide me into a dark undisturbed sleep. And I let it, not wanting to remember the ones I've lost.
