Part Nineteen

Lauren's POV
A few weeks later
I'm finally released from the hospital, Isabella is waiting for me at the house. Lizzie and Joel leave once I've arrived. I wrap Izzy in a big hug and kiss her head happy to have her back. A couple days ago I went to visit Scott and Bobby's graves. The weirdest thing happened, I still don't know wether or not it was real. I try to tell myself it wasn't, but a small part of me knows it was real.
I try to keep that off my mind, I make Izzy a snack and we settle on the couch and watch cheesy little kid shows for the afternoon.
But even as we sit together I still can't help but remembering and thinking about that strange day at the grave yard.

A couple days earlier
Lauren's POV
I pull into the parking lot of the town cemetery. I climb out of the car and make my way up to the tall iron gates that mark the entrance. They loom over me as I walk under them and head inside. A light mist covers the grass surrounding the tomb stones that stick up out of the ground.
I walk down the sloping stone path that leads through the cemetery. My Sandler's click softly on the pathway. No one is in site except of the man working the flower stand. I stop and buy a single red rose and a single white tulip. I pay the man and continue on. Bird sounds are absent here due to the lack of trees. Finally I reach a fork in the path. I go left and soon reach Scott and Bobby's graves. Tears form in my eyes as I gaze down on the cold cement in graves with their names. I place the rose on Bobby's tomb and the tulip on Scott's. I fall to my knees as the damns I had worked so hard to keep from breaking give in and tears begin to flood. Suddenly something moves a white object almost clear rises from the ground. I hold my breath as it begins to speak.
