'Sir, I apologize sincerely for my wife's action.' Mr Abba apologized again. It was the fourth time he was apologising after the incident.

'It's fine. Really, it is.' Tobi replied him lazily.

He was tired of the apologies and felt he wasn't the one who deserved any apology, Grace deserved every single one of them apology. He wished he could make them all knee to her feet and beg. He would lead, he wasn't innocent himself.

'Thank you sir.' Mr Abba bowed.

'So, how is it going with Travis media?' Tobi asked taking a file from his drawers.

'Slow but it's getting responsive. We hope to seek alliance with them so that we can work hand in hand for a lasting while.' He responded.

Tobi nodded. 'Okay, that sounds good except the slow part. I want it fast. How sure are you that this would benefit this company?'

'98% sure Sir.'

'Good. I'll hold on to your words. Set up a meeting with them and let me know when. I'll be going in person.'

'Okay sir.'

'Yeah. You can return to your duty now.' Tobi said and waved him off.

He took out his phone after Mr Abba left. He dialled Grace's number, it has become an habit to always call her in the afternoon and it has been going on for some days now. He smiled the moment she picked the call and spoke.

'Hey dear.' He said sweetly.

'Hi.'

'How's work going?'

'Fine but the stress is much. I have a lot of work to meet up with.'

'Sorry. Just take your time.'

'I will. How's the project you are working on?'

'Fine. We are making progress. Anyway, I just called to check up on you. I'll pick you up when you close and then we could grab something to eat before we pick up Precious. How about that?'

'It's great. Thanks'

'Okay. See you soon.'

'Yeah, bye.'

He hung up. Mr Abba rushed back in.

'There's a new development sir.' He said hurriedly.

'Out with it.' Tobi said eagerly. The look on Mr Abba face told him it was a serious issue.

'Travis Media merged with another Media company and I doubt if our alliance would be needed anymore.'

'What?! And you just found out when?' Tobi barked.

'Now sir. I apologize. I had no idea, I guess that was why they were slow to our proposal.'

Tobi bit his lips. This deal cost a lot of money for his company.

'So what do we do? What Media company did they merge with?'

'Enttown sir.'

'Enttown?!' Tobi screamed as he became weak.

Grace  smiled as she did her work, it was much but she didn't mind. She was doing it in peace. Her desk? Her desk was so free and big. Only the file she worked on was on her desk. Her office was big and it was hers alone, she oversaw her department. The space was great and she loved it. She was glad she picked Enttown job offer over her friend's company. Her sectary came in with a file, she smiled to her.

'Good afternoon ma. This is the file that covers the final agreement with Travis Media.' She said and dropped it on her desk.

'Oh. Good, I've been expecting this.' Grace said as she opened it. She briefly went through it.

'The managing director said there would be a meeting with them tomorrow and you should be there.' She informed.

"Yes, I will. Thank you. I'll call you when I've worked on the necessary parts. You can go for now.' She ordered and it felt good, she felt good.

'Okay ma.' The sectary said and left the office.

Not long after she had gone through it, her sectary called to tell her the MD wants her in his office. Immediately, she went to him.

'Sir?' She said politely.

'Miss Atiba, Travis Media representative just left now and they brought some juicy deal.'

Grace nodded.

'Lane's PR Firm offered them alliance, you know what that means.' He said smiling as he already fantasized the profit the company was going to make from it.

'Lane's PR Firm?' Her heart melted. She had sworn she would have nothing to do with them anymore.

'Yes. Based on your experience with them, you were with them for what? 10 years? I recommended you to join our representative team. You would know better and that would serve us well.'
