Rogue leaned back on their bed reading a book while stroking their boyfriend soft blonde hair, purring sounds came from the sleeping blonde who's armed were wrapped around the nonbinary waist. Sting slept soundly on Rogues lap, smiling and nuzzling his lover.
"So cute my little bumble bee"
"Mmmm"
Was the only response given to the ravenette, they chuckled and kissed Stings forehead. Sting slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Rogue, muttering a few words while smiling.
"Good morning sleeping beauty"
"Mmm says you"
"Wow is that really a good response?"
Rogue asked and ran their fingers through his hair causing Sting to purr louder and pressed his head into Rogues hand.
"You like when I mess with your already messy hair?"
"Yes, don't you dare stop"
Rogue smirked and teasingly stopped touching Sting, earning a growl from him and a flash of yellow crossed Rogues vision and they were now pinned down on the king sized bed, the ravenette looked up at the smirking blonde.
"You really want to be pet?"
"Yes."
Rogue laughed at the quick response and motioned Sting down, Sting grinned and laid his head down on Rogues chest, closing his eyes as he listened to Rogues heartbeat. Rogue shifted in their position and closed their book, looking down at the blonde and stroked his hair, running their fingers through it, and kissed the top of his head as their hand moved to Stings back and carefully rubbed it, Sting shivering at the cold hand on his back.
"Love you so much"
Rogue said as they got a big smile in return and pat his head.
