Sting and Rogue were walking in town with their two exceeds, Frosch and Lector. Rogue smiled at the cute green cat trying to get their ice cream, they moved the ice cream closer so the cat could eat the frozen treat.
"Is it good Frosch?"
"It's yummy Rogue!"
Rogue awed and nuzzled the exceed on their shoulder as they walked and chatted with the cat, Sting was staring at something behind him and sighed, looking down at the tired red exceed on his shoulder.
"You hot buddy?"
"Yes Sting! It is too hot out here"
"Well you are on the hottest person in the world"
Sting smirked as Lector just looked at him as if he wasn't in the mood for Stings crap right now. He laughed and looked back in front of him to find Rogue gone.
"Ah shit."
"What?"
"I lost Rogue and Frosch"
"How do you lose Rogue?"
"BY PRAISING MYSELF THAT'S HOW!"
"He shouldn't be too hard to find"
Sting began walking around the crowd of and looked for his partner and whimpered and no success so ran up to a random person.
"Have you seen my partner slash lover!?"
"What does she look like?"
"They. and this tall. black hair. green cat in a cute pink frog onesie on their shoulder."
"...no I have not sorry"
"that's fine thanks anyway"
With that Sting ran to another person and shook them, earning a high pitched scream before Sting turned them over.
"Have you seen my partner!?"
"What do they look like?"
"beautiful!"
"....clearly not helping"
"Nevermind then"
Sting ran again that Lector had to grip on Sting shoulder at how fast he was going, he groaned and held his head.
"What do we do now Sting?"
"I got this, I can't believe i'm going to die looking for him"
"wait what?"
"FROSCH IS A DUMBASS!"
After a seconds there loud explosion and shadow like mist flying in the air in one area.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY!? I AM GOING TO RIP YOUR HEAD OFF FOR INSULTING MY BABY!!!!"
"Lector there he is"
"Sting-"
"THEN COME AND GET-"
In a split second a fist contacted with Stings cheek and he went flying that Lector fell off, Stings back hit a wall and he groaned holding the side of his head.
"Ow that hurt"
He was lifted up off the ground by Rogue lifting him up and they looked pissed, super pissed right now. Sting gulped and looked at them as Rogue was about to kill him.
"Rogue! Bae! Chill!"
"Any last words?..."
"ROGUE I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! MORE THAN MY PUNS! BUT NOT AS MUCH AS MY LIFE IN THE SITUATION! PLEASE PUT ME DOWN!"
"Times up!"
Sting yelped and shut his eyes and waited for this, well he knew this was coming after a few minutes he was slowly set down, he peak his eye open and looked down to see Frosch hugging Rogues leg and nuzzling it. Sting thanked the exceed silently, and swore to never say anything like this again. He doesn't know how long he just stood there but now Rogue was hugging him tightly.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to nearly kill you"
"Yeah ore like i'm sorry for insulting your child like that out of no where, I just lost you and I wanted to find you as soon as possible, NOT DYING!"
"Why didn't you just scream out my name?"
"We are not in bed Rogue"
That earned Sting a slap to the back of his head, and a whimper from him.
"Lets just go and this time hold my hand"
Rogue held out their hand to Sting, Sting didn't take it but held onto Rogues arm. Rogue sighed but smiled and ruffled his head. Lector walked up to them with Frosch in his arms.
"Can we go now? Frosch fell asleep!"
"Yeah sorry buddy, lets go"
Sting chuckled and began to walk beside Rogue, kissing their cheek as Lector flew over their head holding Frosch.
