Chapter 6: King's love.

  "Enjoy your time, Y/n." The king walks past you while you were panicking, searching everywhere for the key. You didn't have time to stop and glare at him while he left the dungeon for a short while and came back with a chair, placing it on the ground and sitting on it. You probably already lost a minute or two searching. 

  "Oh, come on...! 10 minutes isn't a lot of time...!" You quietly speak to yourself, searching under everything you could move from off the ground. You searched through even the smallest holes in the cracked walls. 

  "Ya know, Y/n... Panicking won't let you think of all the possibilities. It could be anywhere in here." Wilfred speaks loudly so you could hear from far away. You stop for a moment and think of where they could be that you haven't checked yet. "I checked in all the empty cells... Under everything here... In the walls..." You gasp, looking up at the ceiling. The lights hanging down, you never checked!

  You quickly leave and come back with a ladder. The king watches, amused as you search the lights, not finding anything. "Where are they, dammit!" You growl at the king. "Mh, I'm afraid telling you would be cheating, my dear." The male smiles at you. "Besides... I gave you a hint... If you were paying attention earlier, you'd know. Whoops~ Another hint~" "W-what...?" You look down, very confused. 

  'I saw it earlier...?' "One minute left, Y/n." "N-no!!" You run around, double checking everything. You stop for a second, looking at the poor man hanging there, crying. "I-I'm so sorry..." You whisper. "J-just... Say goodbye to my family for me..." He sobs and you look down sadly, until you see the cell door. 

  The key hole...

  "KING!" You rush over to him, tackling him so the chair falls back and you were on him, searching his whole body for the keys. Grabbing them, you gasp and look at them. "One of these!! It has to be!!" 

  Wilfred, with wide eyes, stares at you for a moment at what you just did to him. "Y-yeah, heh..." "Yes!! Now let him go!" "Oh, but, Y/n... A minute's been up for about..." He checks the time. "13 seconds now." "N-no!" You gasp, covering your mouth. "K-king," "WILFRED." He corrects you and you tightly grip the keys. "W-Wilfred... It was only 13 seconds... PLEASE let him go...!" You start to cry.

  The king smiles a sad one. "Oh... How could I say no to you..." He wipes away your tears. Your eyes widen and sparkle from the tears, as you smile at him, moving away. He gets up and takes the keys back, finding the right one and going to the man, freeing him. 

 The man falls and crawls to you, hugging you."T-thank you!! Oh, thank you!" "Get out of here and never come back." Wilfred glares at the man and he leaves quickly, scared but excited to see his family.

  "Thank you, Wilfred..." You hug him, smiling happily. "Yeah, I pitied the man. After all, I killed his family this morning."

  Your smile falls and you look at him. "Y-you, what...?" "Either way, I was going to punish him for what he did to you." He frowns. "I knew you'd make me feel guilty so I did something before we started this. And that was, killing his family." "H-how could you!?" You scream, clenching your fists.

  Wilfred's eyes widen a little as he watches you cry again. "What's wrong? I let him go, didn't I?" "How would you like it if someone came and killed your wife and child, huh?!" You glare at him, clenching your fists. "What if they killed the ones you loved all because of something so.. So fucking stupid!! You're a fucked up, stupid king, and I fucking hate you!!" You run out of the dungeon, sobbing.

  The king watches you leave, confused and worried. "But I..." He looks down once he couldn't see you anymore. "Am I a bad person...? No one's ever yelled at me like that in all my life..." Wilfred tightly closes his eyes, feeling hot tears form. "I-it hurts, when I know it shouldn't to such a cold king like me... But it also angers me..."
