Grimm stood a few feet away from Anna. Anna wasn't sure whether he could see her or not, after all, his eyes were covered by the cloth.
"Are you Anna?" He asked.
Anna nodded. "I am." She said. "A-are you... Grimm?"
Grimm smiled and walked closer, Anna tensed, ready to run if he lifted the cloth covering his eyes.
"There's no need to fear me." Grimm said. "I'm not going to hurt you, I just wanted to meet you."
Anna cocked her head slightly in confusion. "Why me?" She asked.
"Because you're like us." Someone behind Anna said.
She turned around to find an extremely pale boy that seemed to be a year younger than Grimm, his hair and skin were the color of the snow swirling around them, and his eyes were the color of cherry blossoms. He was wearing a sky blue shirt, dark blue jeans, and a grey scarf.
"Ivory?!" Anna asked, amazed that he was here.
He grinned. "That's me!" Ivory said cheerfully. Anna had loved his story as well, and she knew it by heart.
"Ivory was an albino, which was very uncommon. People had called him a vampire because he was so pale and his eyes were red. One day, one of the jerks at school started to throw garlic bread at him and called him Dracula. This was the last straw for him, Ivory defended himself by saying that the bully was jealous because he was special. This infuriated the bully, he threw a chair at Ivory, he held up his hands to shield his face, and shot the chair with ice. The chair fell to the ground and smashed into a thousand tiny shards. Ivory was shocked at his discovery, he had the power to create ice! He decided to get revenge for years of torment, and froze the bully, killing him instantly. Ivory fled from the school. He ran into the woods and accidentally crashed into a boy wearing a cloth over his eyes, the boy knew that Ivory was like him, and invited him to live in a huge mansion in the woods with him. Ivory accepted, and became a member of the Specter Gang."
"I don't believe it," Anna said. "It's really you! The Specter Gang!" But then she noticed that a few people were missing. "Where are the others?" She asked.
"They're back at the mansion," Grimm told her. "They're waiting for your arrival."
Anna's mouth dropped open. "I'm actually going to go to your mansion?" She asked.
Ivory nodded. "Of course," he said. "Like Grimm said, you're one of us."
"But I'm not that amazing," Anna said. "I can't shoot ice from my fingertips or have a death stare that actually kills."
"Maybe not," Grimm said. "But haven't you noticed how quick and light on your feet you are? And how easily you can win fights against people that are twice your size?"
Anna nodded, then her eyes widened in realization. "Are you saying that I'm way faster and stronger than normal humans?" She asked. They both nodded.
"So, will you join us?" Grimm asked hopefully.
Anna nodded eagerly. "Of course!" She said. "All I need is my laptop and I'm ready to go!"
She raced into the orphanage, up the stairs, and into her dormitory. A couple of the other girls woke up at the sound of the door being flung open. Anna raced over to her bed at full speed and grabbed her laptop, the other girls gaped at her as she raced back to the door in two seconds.
"Later losers!" Anna said, then raced back outside to her new family.
