"When do you think she'll wake up?"
Burst opened her eyes slightly, everything was blurry. Her head felt wet, she tried to reach up to feel it, but her hands were tied behind her back. She looked around to see that she was tied to a chair in a dark room, the only light came from a single bare lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.
"Oh good," someone said, stepping out of the shadows with two other girls. "You're awake!"
The girl had greasy brown hair, brown eyes, warts on her face, crooked buck teeth, and a serious weight problem.
"Amanda?!" Burst asked.
Amanda grinned, making herself look even more hideous. "You remember me!" She said. "This will make hurting you even more fun, Anna!"
Burst glared at her. "That's not my name!" She said. "It's StarBurst, and you're going to get it if you don't untie me right now!"
Amanda glared at her. "What can you do to me?" She said. "I'm the one with the whip."
She raised her arm, revealing a long, leather whip that was stained with blood.
"That won't be able to stop the Specters," Burst growled. "They'll find me, and they'll show no mercy until I'm home again!"
Amanda struck Burst on the arm with the whip, making her bleed. Burst gritted her teeth and tried not to scream.
"Wake up, Anna." Amanda growled. "Nobody's coming for you, you're mine now."
Burst glared at her. "Yes they WILL!" She said, snapping the ropes.
She lunged at Amanda, who tried to run. She tried to punch Amanda, but she missed and hit the wall, making it crumble. Amanda struck her with the whip again, and Burst fell over.
"You lose." Amanda said, grinning.
"NO!!" Someone shouted.
Burst tried to see who it was, but she couldn't lift her head. We vision went black, and she passed out.
