Chapter five: That one tweet...

-Luke’s POV-

I woke up early hoping to see Darcy before school started. I rushed out of the house just as Jai woke up. I slammed the door shut and ran out to the footpath. I was determined to get to Darcy’s before she left for school. I was just going to wait outside her house until she came out.

-Jai’s POV-

I had heard Luke get up this morning. At first I didn’t understand why he would get up this early but then it hit me. He must want to talk to Darcy about yesterday. I really hope everything works out with them. I know I shouldn’t worry but I always have worried about Luke. We are so close and not just because we are twins. I have been looking out for him since we started the Janoskians. He will admit it sometimes but I know he gets picked on because of it. I really don’t get why people would pick on Luke and not me or Beau. I got out of bed and walked out to the kitchen only to see Luke run out and slam the door behind him.

-Beau’s POV-

Luke didn’t talk much at dinner which was weird because he is always talking. Jai kept looking at him so I could tell something was up but I didn’t want to ask incase Luke didn’t want to talk. Whenever something happens with one of the twins they’ll tell the other. I know it seems like they never want to tell but I always know. I was half asleep when a heard a massive BANG! I woke up so fast and ran out to the kitchen thinking something had happened. When I reached the kitchen all I found was Jai eating rice bubbles. I looked at him confused.

“What happened?”

“Oh nothing, Luke just left for school. His going to talk to Darcy.”

“Who’s Darcy?”

I was worried about who this Darcy girl was and what she had done to upset my brother. Jai explained everything to me over breakfast. By the end I was happy for Luke yet extremely unsure on what Darcy could be thinking.

-Darcy’s POV-

I couldn’t get much sleep which seemed to be normal at the moment. I couldn’t get the kiss out of my head. I was hoping that I’d see Luke at school and sort things out. I got out of bed to the sound of Cody screaming at the top of her lungs. I called out to Jane hoping she’d come and stop Cody from screaming. In around 30 seconds she stopped screaming. “Thank God for that.” I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. I had coco pops for breakfast. After washing up my bowl, I packed my bag and headed to school. I walked down the driveway and past the mailbox when something scared the shit out of me. It was Luke. He smiled at me. I knew what he was here for. I was glad that we could talk in private.

“Hey. What are doing here?” I asked

“I was hoping to talk to you about yesterday. Look I’m really sorry if I upset you or made you uncomfortable. I’m so…”

I cut him off before he could finish what he was saying.

“Luke, there’s no need to be sorry. I’m glad it happened but I need to ask you something. Why did you do it and what was it meant to mean?”

He answered almost instantly.

“Darcy, I really like you even if I’ve only known you for a day. The kiss was to make it up to you and also to see if you like me in that way but I know you don’t. It’s okay, not many people like me anyway.”

He started to turn around and before he could walk any where I grab his hand and turned him around.

“I like you too Luke.”
