Lindsay woke up the next day with the worst nausea. Her morning sickness, she felt, had been getting worse and worse as her pregnancy continued. She ran into the bathroom, feeling all of her dinner from the night before come burning up her throat.
Niall hurried in after her, "It's alright, babe. You'll be okay." He reassured as he held her hair back into a pony tail with one hand, and rubbing her back with the other. "I read that it gets better once the second trimester comes."
Lindsay sounded groggy and sick as she looked up from the toilet, "Speaking of which, I don't want to tell our families about the baby until the second trimester hits."
"Because of the chance of a miscarriage, baby, I know." He let go of her hair as she flushed the toilet. She backed up against the wall opposite of the toilet, and took deep breaths.
"Could you do me a favor, Ni?" Lindsay said in a near-whisper. "I need you to go get me some-"
"Ginger and peppermint tea and biscuits?" Niall stood up after kissing Lindsay's cheek.
She looked up at him with admiration, "I'm so happy I married you."
Niall smiled brightly at her before walking out and shutting the door. Lindsay sat on the cold bathroom tile, enjoying the coolness of it. She pulled her knees up and rested her head in her hands. She took deep breaths as she felt the same uneasy feeling in her stomach, but she was determined to keep it down until Niall got back. She felt like she had been sitting on the floor for ages before someone finally knocked on the door. "Come in." She said weakly.
"Hey, it's Calum." He spoke quietly as he walked into the room. "I-I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what I did earlier this week. It was really rude of me, and I was only thinking of myself. It was really selfish of me, and I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I knew how you felt about me and I shouldn't have," Lindsay looked up, "What'd you-'
Calum ran his fingers through his hair, "Oh, I bleached it. I figured you'd like me better if I were a blonde, like Niall. I thought maybe I could still get you to change your mind." He smiled confidently.
Lindsay looked at him with wide eyes, almost thinking he was joking. After a minute had passed of him not showing any signs of joking, she nodded, feeling the nausea come back. This time, though, it wasn't staying down.
She hurried back over to the toilet, hunched over, and puked. It was violent, burning her throat every second she spent gagging. She felt like she was losing weight every time she threw up. It didn't matter if she ate, it would come right back out.
It was different since Calum walked in. She felt like she did last Christmas: fearful, nervous. Her brain was racking itself with thoughts. She was in horrible shape right now, and Calum thought that bomb shell would make it better.
His demeanor changed completely, "If you didn't like it, you could've said something instead of throwing up over it. I don't know what I can do to make you like me. I've tried everything. Tell me, please. What can I do to make you choose me instead?" He kneeled down beside her, but she scooted away from him, still spitting into the toilet.
"I want you to get out and don't come back into this bathroom as long as I'm in it." Lindsay said.
Calum gritted his teeth, "Fine. I'll leave."
As he walked out of the door, Niall came hurrying down the hall with bags full of different drinks and crackers, "Hey, is she okay?"
"No idea. She kicked me out." Calum crossed his arms, avoiding eye contact and continuing his stride down the hall.
"Huh, okay," Niall opened the door, "Nice hair, by the way. Looks good." He didn't wait to hear a response before shutting the door behind him. "I assume you haven't heard what happened."
Lindsay looked up at Niall. She had black eyes from throwing up so hard, "No. How would I have heard? I don't have my phone."
"Apparently, someone got a picture of Luke and Savana hugging yesterday, and sent it into gossip sites." Niall brought out his phone to show her, "The fans are mad that she's pregnant with Michael's baby and dating Luke, which we all know isn't the case."
"It was probably Savana's bitch mom who took them as revenge for kicking her out of the party."
"Woah, babe," Niall smiled, "Claws come out, huh?"
"She didn't have any business being here, and demanded to see her grandchildren. If I was in Savana's position in the mood I'm in right now, I don't think I would've let that monster leave this house alive." Lindsay laid down on a bunched up towel on the floor, letting the tile cool her down again.
"I guess you're right." Niall sat down with her and played with her hair until she fell asleep again.

"What the fuck?" Michael sat on the couch, looking at his phone. "Hey, babe, you seen the celebrity news pages today?"
Savana walked out of the hallway, still brushing her teeth, "Why on Earth would I pay attention to those horse shit websites?"
"Because they think you're dating Luke." Michael read with a smirk, "The hashtag Lukana is trending, then again, so is the hasthag slutana."
"Like I said, horse shit websites!" She called from the bathroom.
He noticed something about the picture in the article and hurried into the bathroom, "Hey, I'm not an expert, but wasn't this right after you kicked your mom out of the party yesterday?"
Savana took his phone from his hand, and after looking at the picture, whispered, "That bitch." She looked up at Michael, gave him a kiss, then squeezed past him out of the bathroom, "I'm calling my dad. He's probably still in town right?"
Michael shrugged. The doorbell rang and he went to answer it after picking up a groggy Elise out of bed.
"Oh, hey, Cal. What are you doing here?" Michael seemed confused as he shifted to accommodate Elise falling back asleep on his shoulder.
"I apologized to her, and she accepted it." Calum made his way inside, making sure to be quiet.
"That's good, but it doesn't explain why you're here?" Michael sat down in a recliner to rock the baby softly.
Calum sighed angrily, "I told her I dyed my hair blonde for her so that she could maybe choose me, and she just told me to get out. She's been having morning sickness all day. I thought that maybe, if I looked like Niall, she'd have an easier time choosing."
"Dude," Michael rolled his eyes, "She chose the day she started dating him. She chose again when she said yes to his proposal. She chose when she married him in July. All of us are tired of you thinking that you're an option, when you know you aren't anymore. She's more tired of it than the rest of us are, and this is all added onto the fact that she's pregnant." He looked at Calum with tired eyes, "I can't keep telling you these things because I know you're not going to listen and I know that you're going to keep thinking that she's going to 'rethink her decision'. Just leave her alone and quit bulling her into loving you. If you have to bully someone into loving you, it's not love. It's control."
"Well, what if she's into me? I get that feeling from her all the time, and I want her to act on it."
"Oh, for fucks- Get out of my house. Got to Luke's and bitch to him. I'm not gonna keep doing this with E and the new baby." He pointed to the door.
Calum, after a bit, gave him a look of disgust and walked out the door.
