Chapter 3

All eyes were on me, even the principal was waiting for the next words that would come out of my mouth. Suddenly, Aster was laughing out so loud that she was already crying. Luna shifted her eyes to Aster's who was still laughing midst the attention that she was getting. I shifted my gaze to her's and gave her a confusing look. Si Calix naman ay napatungo at umiling na para bang nahihiya sa inaasal ni Aster. Ano? palaging naguguluhan na itsura na lang maihaharap ko sa kanila? 

"Aster!" Luna hissed. 

"Sorry, sino ba naman kasi magsasabi ng timeout sa kalagitnaan ng mga pangyayari?" Hirap na hirap na sabi ni Aster dahil sa kakatawa. 

"Lord, gisingin nyo na lang po ako. Ayoko na po." Nagmamakaawang sabi ko habang nakapikit, I just can't digest this anymore. Mas lalo naman lumakas ang tawa ni Aster, nakahawak sya sa kanyang asul na buhok tila nanonood ng isang comedy show.

"I like this weirdo." Aster sighed after she recovered from laughing. 

The principal cleared her throat and signaled the two tall men that were standing beside the door to do something, they were wearing tuxedos and their movements seemed stiff and robotic.

"Please escort these students to the carriage that I asked a while ago. Make sure they arrive safely in the city of Andromeda."  

"But-" I butted in.

"No buts Ms. Alvarez. Now, go on with your trip."

The two butlers opened the doors that led to the school's hallways. Nauna si Calix lumabas sumunod naman si Aster na kinindatan ako, panghuli si Luna na binangga ako sa balikat ko at sinamaan ako ng tingin. Tumingin ako sa aming principal and once again I heard a voice that was very much alike with the principal's that said 'you'll be fine, Aislyn'.

"Faster weirdo. Adventure awaits you!" Aster playfully yelled outside the room, which made her voice echo throughout the hallways. 

When I went outside the room the door was loudly shut. I shook my head to erase my thoughts. I fastened my pace to catch up with Luna, Calix, and Aster. What was even weirder is my eyes didn't feel sleepy at all, my heart was beating fast, I was confusedly excited if there was such thing.

Noong nakalabas na kami ng school building I took a last full look at brookside high. I'd surely miss the bright green grass and the quad where me and Athena would usually stay, the structure of the school was simple but it does bring back memories. As I looked around I wondered, will I really miss this? or will I only miss the countless praises and achievements. I think not that much considering that everybody was tired of me already, this is me doing them a favor. 

I shifted my gaze to the carriage right in front of us. It was magical, it was metaphorically sparkling right before my eyes, the carriage was made with gold, the details surrounding the carriage's body was truly astonishing. Two horses were tied to the carriage, with a badge of Clandestine Academy at the side of their body. I tried to touch the horse but it's head turned into the other direction, Calix chuckled at me and I quickly erased the exciting look that I had. The two men that led the way opened the doors of the carriage for us, we quickly went inside and I sat down beside the window, tinabihan ako ni Calix umusog ako ng konti to leave a right amount of space.

"Who will maneuver this carriage?" Tanong ko noong napansin kong walang nakaupo sa labas katapat ng mga kabayo.
