Chapter 4

We are currently in the headmistress' office. Compared to the principal's office of Brookside High this was more spacious. Her desk was wide, a golden name plate was displayed that says 'Ms. Eridanus, Headmistress of Clandestine Academy' written in capital letters. Her chair was pearl white which almost looked like a queen's chair, it was luxurious. A grand window was also at the back of her chair over viewing the whole grounds of the Academy. The room was filled with a soft lavender scent.

"Where is Mr. Mason?" Ms. Eridanus asked with a stern look on her face as if she was already expecting somebody to be missing

"Ah hehe inatake raw ng migraine." Sabi ni Calix habang nakahawak sa kanyang batok. Napailing naman ang headmistress sa kanyang narinig.

"Pakisabi na hindi na ako muli maniniwala sa mga pakulo nya. Gumaling sana siya." sarkastikong sabi ni Ms Eridanus, tumalikod siya sa amin para kumuha ng folder sa drawer nya.

"Oh, what do we have here? Ms. Aislyn Flare Alvarez, age seventeen, a top student at Brookside Academy. Impressive. So you're from my sister's school, which is your principal." She took a look away from her folder and looked at me with a peculiar reaction. Kapatid pala niya ang aming principal, that's why her eyes looked familiar.

I stared at her gray eyes and heard her voice that said 'interesting, so this is what my sister was talking about the whole summer.' I shook my head as I feel my eyes turning into my normal ones and back to gold.

"Golden eyes, a mind reader I see. Kaya siguro mataas ang ranggo mo sa dati mong eskwelahan." I froze with what I heard, a mind reader? All my memories flashed back into my head, the times when I was suddenly hearing voices when I stared at somebody eyes thinking that they were actually talking to me but in reality, I was reading minds? I felt my head ache as if there was a lightning that struck through it I was in a blur but I caught my breathe after a while.

"Okay ka lang ba?" Asked Calix and I wave my hands to ignore my current state.

"How weak. Her body is adjusting to our dimension. She'll get use to it." Luna said with a hint of irritation and sarcasm.

"Hmm, she'll be Hestian's fifth seat from now on. You'll be needing someone like her in your missions and battles. You'll be sharing a dorm with Ms. Luna Andrada and Ms. Astrea Sphinx, your things and necessities are already in their dorm including your new uniform and requirements for each class you'll be attending to. Here's your schedule for the first month since you're still a beginner at wielding your magic and here's the rules that you'll have to oblige to during your four years stay here in Clandestine Academy." She gave me a bag that was filled with papers and such, my identification card was hanging by the side of it. Luna and Calix seemed surprised at what the headmistress said while Aster was leaping for joy.

"Hestia will be complete because of you Flare!" Aster held my hand while her eyes sparkled with joy.

"Ha?" Wala sa sariling sabay na sabi ni Calix at Luna, napangiwi naman sila sa isa't isa.

"Any objections Mr. Lennox and Ms. Andrada?" The headmistress strictly looked at them. The atmosphere she was making was scary it made me want to run away like a mice being caught by a cat.

"None" Mabilisang sabi ni Calix.

"She's weak! She's not even suited for being an-" Sigaw naman ni Luna ngunit pinutol sya ni Ms. Eridanus.
